“Kid friendly and a good option if your visiting holiday world. The food is good not the best but it’s affordable. Ac wasn’t working very well but the drinks were cold.”
“I could not believe how good the pizza was,we haven't had a pizza that good in the longest time, if you are looking for some good eats go here you will not be disappointed..”
“The manager, Noah, gave us his personal attention to make sure we enjoyed our meals. I even saw him preparing food. He didn't stop moving the entire time we were there. Just incredible work. And Libby, our waitress, was very kind as well. She was attentive and did her job well.Parking: Plenty of parking, there is semi truck parking as well”
“It's always a good place and family friendly. Food is amazing compared to surrounding Subways this one here is a gold mine. Always great service never any problems Amber is a great sandwich maker. Karen is also lol good ol Karen.Kid-friendliness: Just a great friendly place abe very welcoming.”
“Service was reasonable, given it appeared they were short staffed. The lobby wasn't open around noon when we arrived. The drive-thru worker was doing her best to keep up. I give her props for her multitasking abilities under pressure. The food was hot and delicious.”
“This is by far the best breakfast restaurant I've ever visited. The atmosphere and service are excellent, and the food is truly exceptional. My husband got the Haystack, I got the sausage and egg platter, and we both were full and very happy with the quality and flavor of the food. The price was very reasonable as well. Iced coffee was delicious, and so were the cinnamon rolls! We hope to come back. Thank you, Cascade staff!”
“Simply Scrumptious Tuna Melt & pulled pork sandwiches with generous & fresh house salad & perfectly done fries. Very fast & friendly service in a beautiful setting on the Christmas Lake golf course. Pro Shop was fun to get stocking stuffers and super friendly staff willing to share area attractions Worth the detour rolling hill drive from town!!!”
“Very good food, vegetarian options. Salsa was delicious. Went there with a group of 10 and food was brought out quickly with no issues. Will definitely go back and recommend! Muy Bien!”
“The Peach Vanilla Sour was so good! We also had the Nashville Hot pizza which was yummy!! The crust had the perfect amount of crispness. We will definitely be back!”
“My carmel macchiato tasted absolutely amazing!! A great flavor balance between the coffee and steamed milk. I also got a variety of macarons that had a thin, smooth shell with great flavor! The new owners were very nice and outgoing. My favorite go-to coffee place!! They sell more than coffee!!”
“Stopped in here on a business trip. Food was pretty good. Got a steak burger. The burger tasted flame grilled but was a little too blackened on the outside for my taste. But was still decent. Sides were good, I got the buffalo fries. Service was really good. Not a big place, kinda older looking inside and out. Wasn't very busy for a Friday night. I would go back and try something else just to see maybe how the steaks are and such.”
“This is a cute small establishment in Huntingburgh. The food was good, service was great. Friendly and on top of drinks. Didn't have dessert but they looked good. I had a Reuben and it was piled high with chopped corn beef and sauerkraut. The top piece of rye was toasted but the bottom was a little soggy. Best to use a fork and knife. Taste was good though.”
“Good food! I got the Chicken, bacon and ranch wrap with their fries. Their fries were really good and cut in a way that I have never tried before. You can pick whatever seasoning to put in your fries. I picked the smoked taco seasoning for my fries. Definitely will be back. The staff was very friendly was well.”
“Great customer service, very organized food and ice cream served quickly. Good quality ice cream, at a fair price. Would recommend checking it out especially if you have kids are grandkids. Who doesn't love ice cream lol!”
“I had a perfect evening here. For me, that's an evening with some beer, some wifi and a peaceful spot where I can sit with my laptop. And despite the family atmosphere with a few kids running about, I was undisturbed.I had two absolutely terrific beers and sat at a table outside the main dining room next to the office. A power outlet there and so I not only wrote a half dozen or so Yelp reviews, I was able to fully charge all of my electronics before heading onwards. For me, that's a perfect evening. There's a friendly vibe here. Folks coming and going, families who haven't seen each other since last week, a beertender who wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my beers. Love it.”
“The biscuits and gravy was amazing and for all the reviewer is reviewing that the place closes too early if you're so angry about the place closing too early go in earlier”
“Holiday World is where I was jolted on The Voyage and forced into roller coaster retirement until the end of time but I'll never hold it against them.I'm a born and raised Hooiser but had never been to Holiday World! I had always heard about it so was jazzed to check it out. We went for the first time last year and plan to return for many years to come! What's not to love? The holidays are just so cute and thoughtful! They have Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 4th of July. Each with themed rides! From the music to the flowers - they truly make each holiday feel unique and special! They have both rollercoasters and a giant water park! Complimentary soft drinks and sunscreen included in you ticket. You'll make an investment for the day with tickets being about $60 per person but it's well worth it! First responders get a significant discount!Pro tip: eat a thanksgiving meal! They have turkey and all the sides!”
“What a gem! Proudly serving the area for more than 30 years, Carolyn’s Country Pizzaria serves more than just great pizza! Although it’s not the easiest place to get to it’s definitely worth the drive. If you’re a fan of Turoni’s or Una Pizza you’ll enjoy Carolyn’s pizza as well, if not more. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the warm ambiance, neat decor, and friendly service given by the owner Carolyn, who was quite nice to get to know. Looking forward to the next visit!”
“My test of a good Chinese restaurant is how good their hot & sour soup is...China Garden has AMAZING soup, to my tastes. The szechwan beef is flavorful, and so tender and fresh. An excellent meal for an excellent price!”
“The food was excellent. Service was outstandingly prompt and efficient. The atmosphere was crowded. The entrance was not large enough for the amount of traffic going through. Everyone was polite and made it work, tho. I think it was just the busy time of the day that caused a bottleneck. And then of course the bathroom was an issue, there was a line and it wasn't moving quickly. They had opened some others in the back, but I didn't hang around to find out. Our food was up before I could explore more. The food was delicious. Everything I could ask for and more. Thanks y'all. If I'm ever back in your area, I'm going back for more. Yummy”
“I've been coming here since before the newest owners. I have to say they have put a lightening bolt into this establishment, the food they offer is outstanding every time I go into this business. Greated very well, always friendly and that takes alot because alot of owners of small businesses get thrown alot of stresses and business decisions they don't agree with. This is not the place they have always been great people from the start. My last meal I had was the brisket tacos. Now if you know how much time goes into making brisket this was a treat. Hope you read this and will greet this place with your presence because it is very much worth it.”
“I always love eating here! Everything is good but that Johnny Dart! Dang there is just nothing like it, it's on a whole different level compared to other similar types of sandwiches!”

“Stopped for a quick bite on the way to holiday world and was blown away. I got the chicken enchilada soup that was cheesy and perfectly seasoned. It's in a historic house with cute antiques and country decor. There is a patio with a gorgeous garden and pergula. The service was very fast and friendly.”

“My friend and I were in Indiana for Holiday World and decided to wait to eat til after we left, we looked up restaurants and found Oasis. We were so pleased to find this little place, she made our food on the spot and it was delicious! Chicken noodle and grilled cheese for me, and burger and salad my friend had! Delicious! Highly recommend! Thank you!!”
“I live in Jasper and can honestly say when I want a subway sandwich I only go to the huntingburg location. I have had a bad experience at the ones in Jasper. Huntingburg location employees have manners, they read the order back to you and they act like they want to be there. The order is always right and you’re treated with respect. 5 stars across the board.”
“The Chateau is a classic tavern in the heart of rural Indiana. A great place to take your family for an evening meal or hang out in the bar with friends to watch a game. Super relaxed atmosphere with plenty of locals that will warmly welcome you. Extremely affordable food and you won't find a less expensive place to drink... example.... $4 shots of Patron! Stop in and tell them Todd sent you! You'll like it I guarantee it!”
