This place has a really good prime rib and filet. The setting is a bit dated but the food makes up for it. We had a Bloody Mary flight which was just ok but the two appetizers (Aji, tuna and bacon wrapped chicken liver) were really good. Wedge salad was fresh and french onion soup was tasty. Like I said the highlight of this evening was definitely the meat. It was most excellent and we all enjoyed our dishes. The dessert was a german chocolate cake and it was also really good.
Got a carry out of some of that delicious prime rib!!! Had them sear it on the grill to lock in that juiciness! Aus jous and horseradish sauce along with fries and slaw on the side! Always one of my favorites from here!
My mom and I stopped here for an early lunch, they were just switching over from the breakfast menu. We were seated in a booth, in a not-too crowded dining room. But not so empty that it was awkward either. Just right, really, with a few groups that were definitely regulars. Our friendly waitress was well seasoned and knew what we would want before we had to ask. We both got the Sizzlin Cobb Salad, mine with ranch and hers with poppy seed.
