A nice, private type of beach that was nice views of the lake, clean and well kept beaches where beachgoers come to relax, enjoy and have some fun w/out all of the nonsense. They also have a good stand should you get hungry. You pay $15 to park and enjoy til 7 pm. Nice, cozy and ez to get to and from.
Had the double cheeseburger meal. Very good burger, I'm going to rank it as one of the best in the area. Also you don't need to pay for parking if your eating lunch and not going to the beach. Haven't been to any of the evening events, but given the vibe of the place I bet it's laid back and fun! Go and enjoy this little region gem!

There is no better place in Indiana to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Michigan, the sugar sand of the wonderful beach and great food served by Alice's team. Wells Street Beach is a gem worth visiting!
