My Granny has been coming here since she was 8 years old. She new almost every face , and told me all sorts of stories about the building and the folks in side it. The french toast, deeply unique to the spot, its the most delicious breakfast frankenstien ive ever tasted. Grab a danish while theyve still got them, perfect buttery crust, toasted on the grill to perfection.
My kind of place. I was impressed how well maintained it is. The candy counter was impressive. If only it hadn't been breakfast. It was fun to sit at the counter and watch the staff work their magic. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. I enjoyed my pancakes cooked just the way I like them with lots of butter and slightly crispy edges. Great job.

Above average ? Definitely has that old nostalgic charm. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. I will return and am trying the milkshake next time! I hear that their breakfast is good too. They had cases of a variety of candies available (sorry, no pics of that).
