“This is home-cooking @ it's best. One of the specials today was the volcano pot roast which I had because it's one of my favorites. The roast beef is tender & plentiful with gravy over mashed potatoes & on a piece of white bread with onion straws on top. Somehow that piece of white bread tastes so good with soaked up gravy & reminds me of my youth. Seasoned green beans with onion bits & bacon round out the perfect meal. I had the leftovers for supper & it's great reheated, too. Harlan Cafe has great skillet breakfasts, sampler, & pancakes & several different waffles done to perfection. Never had a bad meal here!”

“My band, Riot Division has played here twice. We love Carl's tavern! Everybody there is always super cool and friendly. Chad Sowers has booked both of our shows and always does a great job with the bands! You could not find a more honest promoter! If you have a chance to go watch some bands there or if your band has a chance to play their, do it! We will definitely be back! Hopefully again and again and again!Parking: You can park down both intersecting streets and there are also parking lots.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps at the front door or throughout Carl's tavern. Anyone in a wheelchair should be okay. I always look at stuff like that because when my back goes out, I'm stuck in a wheelchair for a month or so.”

“Pulled up to grab a bite and realized it was 5 minutes until they closed, not wanting to be those customers we went to walk back to the car when the owner popped out and told us to come on in. We sat ourselves, and had service immediately. Drinks were brought out right after, placed our food order and within 10-15 minutes it was on our table. After getting our drinks and snack, we took our 3 year old to the kids area set up in the basement. She had a blast and we were able to relax while watching her play! “I really enjoy this small town restaurant! The food is always warm, tasty and doesn't take forever to get. The servers are great. You don't have to wait for a refill on drinks; they are very attentive to that. The country breakfast bowl is one of my favorite meals. If I had to pick on something it would be with two of the pies. Their pies are awesome, but I cannot taste the peanut butter in the peanut butter or the chocolate/peanut butter pie. I think it might be that they seem to use some kind of peanut butter crumbles for the peanut butter flavor and that just doesn't seem to give the good peanut butter taste.”

“I just moved to Fort Wayne and this place is right by my house. My contractor told me to check it out and it was great. The food was extremely good for a bar and the atmosphere was nice. Good Ol'fashioned bar for adults not loud college kids. The waitress was very cool and introduced me to the owner. They welcomed me to the area and I had a great conversation with her. I'm really impressed with all aspects of this bar and it's gonna be my go to place. Exactly what a "Cheers" style bar should be.”

“This is my favorite coffee place! They have the best Chai and I love their mochas too. The atmosphere reminds me of being in a Hallmark movie - just very calm and cozy. There’s plenty of seating inside, upstairs and downstairs. There is outdoor seating as well. They also have a public restroom. Overall just a great place to get some coffee or food and hang out!Parking: Free parking across the street, on the street, and on the other side next to the coffee house.”

“*edit**I emailed you as you asked, and its been 9 days with no response. You clearly do not want to make it right with us. It seems you only promptly respond to public reviews.*My husband and I went here at least 2 to 3 times a week, so writing this review makes me sad. We will not be returning to this location unless we see some new employees.My husband was a huge Chipotle fan because they make giant burritos. I convinced my husband to patronize Guadelupe's instead because they are locally owned and Catholic. Literally every. Single. Time. that we came in to order we received obnoxious comments from the employees that our burrito was too big and they couldn't wrap it and they were so bugged that the burrito had too many ingredients on it. We understand the burrito is big, but we even pay for the extra costs happily and we started to tip them extra because they made us uncomfortable and we felt bad that they were so troubled with wrapping the burritos. The comments and gestures that we received got so bad that we will not be returning. This last visit the woman threw her hands up and said "this isn't even a burrito."Again, we're aware that the burrito is big...but if we're coming in 2 to 3 times a week, sometimes more than that and patronizing your business, you would think that they would get to know us, be kind to us and just take care of us. It's not that hard to double wrap a burrito.Why offer all the ingredients in the first place if it's so obnoxious to ask for them? And again, we pay for the up charges! It's like so confusing because the Chipotle employees don't blink twice at wrapping really big burritos. We will be going back to Chipotle for our "obnoxious" burritos.”

“I never remember to take pictures before we devoured everything! This time, I think we had the all meat pizza. As usual, it was LOADED with meat AND cheese. They never skimp on toppings, including the cheese. I have been blessed to actually meet both members of the couple who own this place. They are both very personable people who take pizza seriously! I have had a great amount of pizza in my adult life, having been a GM for both a Domino's and a Papa John's. The pizza that we have had here far surpasses ANY chain store pizza I've ever tasted. Everything we have ordered from here has far surpassed my expectations of a small town pizza restaurant. ?”

“Really nice neighborhood pub with cold drinks and sandwiches & bar food appetizers. There is a juke box and they have a live band on certain days.Prices are reasonable and the burgers are really good.”
