This restaurant will definitely be high priority when we're in the Indy area, which is often. We were greeted as soon as we walked in (it was obviously a slow time). We sat down and Phan came out and introduced herself, and gave some great recommendations. She and the other lady behind the counter were very friendly and helpful through our whole visit, even as a few other customers came and went. We just moved to Indy and were sad to see that there wasn't any real Asian restaurants. Not corporate Americanized fiod like so many chinese buffets that serve food that they think Americans want. True authentic Lao food. Pho Sunday was delicious. Incredible authentic broth and the usual sides. Also had the chicken satay with the most flavorful peanut sauce and fresh spring rolls with fresh herbs and shrimp. Definitely a fresh breath of air culinary wise. Absolute top-flight food. Well prepared, good ingredients, layers and layers of flavor. When the first dish arrived, I knew we had made a good decision because the aroma was fantastic. My dish arrived second. Same thing. Red curry with beef (mild by request) was aromatic, beautiful color, delicious. The owner chatted with us. She is obviously very pleased with the food she cooks.
