It, tucked away, hidden in the nook of a seeming to be shut down strip mall area — happily to find a pristine kitchen, with fresh meats and cheeses in what seem to be freshly cleaned and rotated metal tins . The staff is very nice professional, and seems to care about the customers very quick service and was happy to suggest things and update us on pricing. I ate my sandwich and it was fantastic. “I used to go to this location a lot! The reason why I don't go anymore is because you only serve sugary soda or sugary lemonade. You took ice tea away (which is a cheap beverage to offer your guests who keep your doors open), and I do not want to be limited to water. I've asked several times to bring back ice tea but it doesn't seem to phase you or even speak volumes to how much business is being left on the table by being one of the only places to not offer the cheap and popular beverage of ice tea. Please bring it back or change out one of the sugar bombs in your fountain for Powerade or something not carbonated and full of sugar. “If I could give this location specifically 10/5, I would. I went in with a large order, 6 sandwiches in total. I placed my order, and they were super patient with listening to everything and made sure to clean the area and change their gloves for the three gluten-free (allergy) sandwiches I ordered. Then it came time to pay, and all I had access to was Google Pay, but my tap to pay wasn't working due to a magnet on my phone and on their device. So I asked if it'd be ok if I could run and grab cash to pay with that instead. They said that'd be totally fine, and they'd put my food aside till I got back. Unfortunately, my bank was closed, and I had no other way to pull cash. So I had to improvise. 30 minutes later, I came back to the Jersey Mike's with a pre-paid Visa card, and they still had my food and began ringing up my purchase right away. Made sure that everything wad correct but the card wouldn't work and they couldn't figure out why and so the manager, seeing that I was visibly distressed and defeated, told me that I could just take my food and my card. He wasn't upset at all. He said it was clear I was trying to pay for my food, I had gone and paid for a gift card, so he let me take the card and food. It was amazing and made the whole situation so much better. And I hadn't even told him it was for my mother's birthday. I can not believe the kindness displayed here. “We tried the new Cousins sub shop on Michigan Road. The company is based out of Wisconsin and was family originated. Their slogan relates to having higher quality ingredients. This new location was tricky getting to as you have to pass by it and then maneuver potholes and approach from the rear. There are several stores that looked alike, so we had to drive back around front, dodging construction to find. They have a drive-they window for picking up orders or eat-in dining room. They also have a patio that will be nice during warmer weather. The dining room is new, clean and interesting. We were comfortable during our short stay. The clerks were really nice, helpful and anxious to serve us. Reginald (Reg) offered suggestions. Subs averaged around $8 and are pretty big. You order up at the counter then they bring the food to your table. I had the Tuna with lettuce and tomato, served cold. The roll is really good and fresh without being too much bread. I like that the sandwich was a little chewy. The tuna salad was ok, perhaps a little drier than I like. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and herb topping a nice touch. I'd order it again. My husband had the Philly (Reg's suggestion). He had the sandwich hot, so the cheese was nice and melted. The steak was really good and the fillings were generous. We also shared an order of fries. The fries are really good, thinner cut and crispy. Bronze came over and checked on us. The staff is eager to please. We felt welcome. We had 5 star service for a chain restaurant. They cater and the sub trays look perfect for a tailgate or work lunch. All in all, they excel on service and the sub rolls. The sandwiches were good with fresh ingredients.“
