“The sushi was incredible! The pieces were smaller, which was a good thing as they were more approachable. I give credit to the size to them not having too much rice, like most places. They had just enough rice to surround them and keep them together. Unfortunately, the service was subpar. I blame the management more than the server, to be honest. There was only one server and one bartender. So it was a little frustrating to have everything take so long from start to finish. Over all, if you want good sushi with a very posh atmosphere, go here... you may just have to wait a while.“
“Small quiet place. Went here for a great healthy lunch and was so happy with my experience! I love a good thai place and this place was that. Definitely try it out if you are ever in the area. Also ordered a Pad Thai for my fiancé which im sure will be great! ??Parking: In front of store probably 40-60 parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chairs can get in but no ramp“
“A little pricey but it’s really good! They have tons of vegan/vegetarian options. The service is good and the location is super nice. Right in the heart of bottle works! I got the tofu curry without the shrimp and it was so good! Also fried rice on the side. I had enough for leftovers. The samosas were ok, I probably wouldn’t order them again.“
“We go there all the time. We live right across the street and we don't go there because it's not good it's great. We've beena lot of other sushi places, Including It's birthplace this place is just as good If not better and much more reasonable! The owner and his staff are top notch.“
“I've been dying to try Yummy Bowl for the longest time and I was not disappointed! The volcano sushi roll was 11/10 amazing! There were several fresh veggie options for the Mongolian grill, as well as several meat and fish options. Bowls are huge and guaranteed leftovers to take home! I cannot wait to go back!!“
“I really enjoyed my food and experience here. It was a Tuesday night and wasn't very busy. We sat ourselves based off the signage we saw.We ordered shrimp shumai for the table and I ordered one of the specials which was yaki udon with shrimp. It was so flavorful and delicious. The noodles were perfectly sauced. The shrimp shumai was also excellent. My friend ordered one of the sushi dishes and said it was just ok. I didn't try it but I am very happy with the choice I made!I feel like it's located in a random area of town with not much around but that could just be me since I don't frequent this area often. There is no parking lot so street parking will be the best option.“
“It's delicious food. You fill your bowl at the bar with what you like. Always grab 2 eggs on the side. The veggies and meat are raw, you add seasoning, get your sauce and leave it for them to cook for you. The waitresses and the cooks are always nice, always smiling. Best service and food I've had in a long time.Parking: It's a small lot but you can find parking spots.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely kid friendly, but they need help making the bowl. The food is raw, veggies, and meats.“
“Best sushi in the area by far. I am a vegetarian and they make fantastic veggie sushi rolls with a lot of variety, I recommend the garden roll with cream cheese added. Most sushi places don't have as many veggie options! My boyfriend eats meat and he loves the kani tempura roll and the dynamite roll. They also have great sides that we both really enjoy. We typically get take out, but the restaurant itself is also quite nice and the staff are always very friendly. It's a bit small so you may have to wait a short time for seating if they are busy!“
“Good food, excellent and friendly service, fair prices. Getting a fresh bowl made and cooked exactly how I want ended up being delicious. The vegetable, meat, and sauce choices are varied enough that it won't get boring with the ability to change it up every time or go with your favorite.“
“I drive here from an hour away because it’s absolutely worth it! The atmosphere and service are both great, and the food is phenomenal. Every roll I’ve tried is delicious, I feel like you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. The crispy Brussels sprouts app is a must. Their cocktails are also beautiful and tasty.“
“Tucked a little outside of fountain square, you'll find a nice sushi spot! A friend of mine introduced me to this spot! Food: very yummy! Whether it's a seaweed salad, a soup or sushi! I tried all and was satisfied with the cost $ and the quality of freshness. Service: super sweet and quick Ambiance: cozy and relaxing I would definitely recommend if you're in need of a new sushi spot or in the fountain square area!“
“Ichiban is such a rare gem. I visited today for the first time in a few years and was reminded why I love it so much. The service is so friendly and the food is every bit as delicious as ever. The katsudon is a must for me. Don’t miss out on this place.“
“Ordered through DoorDash and our order got picked up but didn’t get delivered, so we were refunded, and I had to call up to store and Amanda helped and said our order had been picked up, but then canceled, and we needed to reorder our order, we ordered our order and then it got delivered quickly! Thanks Amanda for your help! Most employees at restaurants that do DoorDash don’t care if you get your food or not, but she helped make sure we got ours! ? we love sushi boss!“
“If you're interested in trying different sushi this is a great place. There is an all you can eat option and they have a lot of food choices. It can feel kind of crowded on a busy day, but their servers are always great, so at least it doesn't feel like you wait long.“
“Food was amazing, better than Benihana’s! I would have provided a five star, but when I went to pick up my food at the scheduled time it was not ready. Employee said have a seat. He didn’t say when it was going to be ready. Just have a seat and still had to wait additional 10 minutes. If the employee would have communicated, it would have been fine. I would’ve given it a five star. They also need to label the container for the sauces. This was my first time at the restaurant and the food was so good.“
“So far I've only had the general tso's chicken and for the price it was not great. You can get much better at any Chinese food restaurant around town for half the price. The atmosphere is lovely and I look forward to going back and giving their sushi a try.“
“The food was good and the staff was very attentive to our table. The prices are very reasonable, especially if you get a combo or some deal that is offered. I highly recommend the sushi, each roll I try is enjoyable and some of the more affordable options in the immediate Broad Ripple area. Great place for nearby students and tons of options so everyone can find something they will enjoy.“
“One of the best Japanese restaurants in Indianapolis in terms of quality and price. They have a wide menu that includes sushi, ramen, udon, bento, donburi, etc.The interior decor is fun, and there is plenty of seating. We were able to be seated as a table of 2 without waiting around 7pm on a Friday night. The atmosphere is lively, but it still makes for a great date night. We each ordered an entree and shared a roll of sushi and two appetizers --more than enough! I highly recommend the takoyaki and squid appetizers. They are really filling and delicious. ⚠️ Be careful not to burn yourself biting into the takoyaki!I also got the tempura udon. The broth is so savory and well seasoned. The tempura also showed up hot and crisp.I can't wait to eat here again!“
“We had two shrimp poke bowls, a bento box with crispy chicken, potstickers, crab rangoon, a slice of mango cake and a slice of strawberry shortcake. Everything was amazing!! So good! Great proportions as well. And to top it off, service was exceptional. The ladies working Sunday, February 4th, 2024 deserve props. Will be going back regularly.“
“Great sushi, and several unique rolls and sushi appetizers (I'm looking at you "dinosaur eggs"). Their quality of sushi and friendliness of servers and staff put them amongst the best sushi places in town, and the addition of some unique menu options helps them stand out even further.“
“Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive. Never had to ask for refills and recommended different foods that we were interested in. Food was great best patty melt I have ever had. A lot of food which was worth the price we paid. It's more upscale than most pub or bar food. The Keylime pie was absolutely amazing. Closest to authentic I have had in Indiana.“
“This was my second time dinning at forty-five degrees. I had the orange glazed chicken. The meal comes with a bed of rice, broccoli and orange chicken garnished with an orange slice. Our server was amazing and patient and gave us some amazing recommendations on what we should order from drinks to food and dessert. favorite options on what“
“One of the best! Bring cash. Ordered takeout - red snapper and yellowtail nigiri… great! Also got cherry blossom, tiger eye, and rainbow rolls. All very VERY good. Cherry blossom and rainbow rolls were pretty small, but the flavor was definitely there! Cherry blossom roll was my favorite. Asked for “a lot of wasabi,” but had to go back for more as I only got one additional small scoop. They charge extra fee to pay with card, undisclosed until I was actively paying.“
“Asaka is the only place in Indianapolis with authentic Japanese cuisine, period. The staff is knowledgeable, the kitchen turns out amazing food, and the sushi bar provides beautiful cuts of sushi you can't believe. I take my friends and family as much as I can. A+“
“We enjoyed a nice dinner. The restaurant was quite busy, as would be expected on a Saturday evening. Our server, Julia, was pleasant, attentive, and did a fine job. The food is consistently very good. We are never disappointed when dining here.“
“Came for the first time with a friend for a girls night and will be back! Sushi was great and they have a large variety of raw and cooked sushi to choose from. I picked two cooked options and liked them both. My friend said the sliders are the best item in the menu. I don't eat beef so I couldn't give my opinion. However, we chatted with several other people and our server and they all love the sliders so I say give them a try! They have daily drink specials. We ordered a rum sangria, tasted like red wine which I like so I was happy and it was only $5! There were lots of other specials to choose from so it will give me a chance to try more when I return! We went around 7:45pm and it was busy so there was a wait. Also saw there is a weekend brunch so I want to give it a try!“
“AMAZING Price for unlimited Sushi. The quality of the food is good, never a bad piece of sushi had at this place. But again, you're not going to be getting Michelin star sushi for this price. Its not just sushi, the appetizers are amazing, the BEST crab rangoon I've ever had. And the staff is amazing. Very attentive and helpful if you have trouble with your order or figuring out the ipad. No wait limit on tables (unless they have a line of people) and so its the best place to bring a board game and play with your S/O or kids, read a book by yourself, or do some work during lunch while eating everything on their menu.“
“Fantastic food, but lackluster service. The food was fresh and well prepared. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the shrimp were tasty, but the star of the show was the vegetables. They did not have the usual sweet teriyaki sauce, but a mildly sweet sauce with a dark, smoky flavor. The chef did not put on much of a show, but he did do an excellent job of cooking the food. They only had 2 waitresses and cooks. we waited nearly an hour before the chef came out, and the next table went uncleaned the whole 2 hours we were thereThe restoom is a long way from the dining area. It was clean enough, but kind of run down. There were no paper towels. You can't open the door with an electric hand dryer lol.“
“I take it back. I've been waiting for one California roll for over an hour. Food just came and it's the worst California roll I've eaten here since I first started coming many many years ago Ridiculous. My roll was cold, as if it was pre-made and refrigerated. This is the second time this has happened My husband's was different, rice was room temp. Who is managing this place???“
“I absolutely LOVE going to Sushi Boss. The service is top tier! You get to pick your own custom ingredients. Super vegetarian friendly as well. Love the environment and the energy. Love the veggie roll! I get asparagus, carrots, avocado and cucumber veggie rolls every time! As well as an ice cold coke in a glass bottle! They even offer to pop the top off for you! Highly, highly recommend!“
“Mmmmm!!! I can't say enough good things about this place! I told my friend about and bow her family eats her regularly also. It's definitely worth the 20 min drive. Fried rice actually has flavor, you can chooses how you want your steak cooked, and the portion sizes are awesome! Plus they give u a huge side of yum yum sauce! I can't recommend this place enough!“
“One of our favorite local restaurants! Naked chopsticks is a great restaurant with amazing food and great service. My kids love it and choose it anytime they have the say on restaurants. The ambiance is very chill and nice and the decorations make it such a relaxing place to eat. We have gone through many rewards cards. If you get the chance defiantly check it out.“
“This is the best Japanese/Thai restaurant to me in Indianapolis!!. My husband and I have drove by this place so many times and never stopped to check it out until recently..and I'm soooo glad we did!!! I truly truly truly recommend eating here if you like true Japanese/Thai food..by far this is our favorite place to eat!!“
“First off - the food is phenomenal. It is fresh, made to order, good portions, great prices. The shumai is honestly so well cooked I order it every time. The staff is great - the servers are all on top of tables - quickly refilling any low drinks and checking for empty plates to remove. The chef is top notch - the food is phenomenal. The managers are nice and keep a good eye out. The wine/beer/sake selection is quite fitting and they also have a full alcohol bar unlike many sushi/hibachi joints.Shoutout to my favorite server Maria.“
“The sushi was great! We got the triple roll and the tiger roll. The presentation was great and it tasted wonderful. My husband got the spicy miso ramen and subbed the pork for shrimp and it was OK. If you're looking for a good miso soup and sushi--this is the place to go.“
“The poke and sushi here were alright, but the staff working behind the counter were the real stars of the show. I was visiting from out of town, and walked into Yoshi's rather late. The gentleman who prepared my food was politely conversational. While we were talking he gave me some good pointers on local attractions to check out. The three places he recommended were all great and off of that interaction alone, I'd give service here five stars.“
“Kind of a run down and unassuming little spot (this location) but the food and price more than make up for the aesthetics. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. The mango salad was a standout for me. A much different flavor profile and texture than you will find at most places.“
“If I could eat this everyday I would! Such a great value for your money, fresh, and the fact you season everything on your own. The servers are kind and friendly. I recommend getting your to go box so you can maneuver your sauces better. They have all kinds of drink options as well.“
