“From time to time I absolutely crave the Trilogy Mac. The BBQ brisket is always hot and a perfect compliment with the cheese used in the pasta. The jalapeno chips on top added the right amount of crunch and heat to the dish without being overwhelming.“
“We had never been there before let alone heard of the place. But when we looked up Burger joints, this place popped up.We originally had decided to go with a place called Royale with cheese but they decided they weren't going to be open yesterday even though online it said they were. So we , like I said found Mama t's online and that's where we went. And I will say the food was amazing!! We got an order of pancakes, eggs and toast, a French dip, and a bacon cheeseburger deluxe. ?We were there for my son's 18th birthday! I definitely feel we will be going back to Mama t's because wow!! I don't remember any names of the staff because I was focused on my food and the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's old and looks like an old bank or post office. Very cool!! “6 ladies out and about. Breakfast, lunch and lots of ice cream concoctions.The Mexican steak tacos were great lots of steak, onion and cilantro. The salsa has very good. Beans and rice aren't my favorite anywhere. These were very tasty. The American steak tacos had rave reviews also. Lettuce,cheese and cilantro with beans and rice also.The patty Melt was loaded with onion in every bite. That was very appreciated. Veggie omelette was big and fluffy all by it's self.and another scrambled egg plate had probably three fluffy eggs and an order of wheat toast. Only one taker on a churro. Very good. All were very full and even some boxes went home.Only one waitresses for today and she did an amazing job keeping all her customers happy. We will definitely be back.“
“We decided to try a new place for lunch and were immediately greeted when we walked in Fresco. Service was great, food was even better! We ordered 3 different paninis, roasted veggies, and potato wedges with ranch! Delicious! Definitely will be going back.“
“Don't expect high end dining here but the food is good and some of it is great. Fish fry, Rubin sandwich, fries, coleslaw, and breakfast omelettes are my favorites. The staff is really nice. I've tried a couple of other dinners in La Porte and this one is better. Prices are also reasonable.“

“I know we're all glad to have them in the neighborhood. And for the most part I think they are a good restaurant. But boy that green pepper soup had a half inch of Grease or oil on top. And the beef stroganoff should be a sour cream base but it was more like beef tips. it was good but I really wanted Stroganoff.“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! Food, service, atmosphere, decor… all is top tier! It’s perfect for a fancy date night dinner, hanging with friends for a bar night and the outdoor patio is great for a summer hang out. The owner has clearly put her heart and soul along with a lot of time and money into turning this place into I think the best restaurant/bar in at least La Porte and Michigan City and stands toe to toe with Chicago and beyond. Run, don’t walk to this place and enjoy!“
“It was delicious ? food. I ordered thr Itailian Beef it's my favorite ? and I even had leftovers for 2 lunches. My husband had the Mostaccioli thr only complaint was that it was a little too watery like not drained well enough, but was good.“
“The better wing stop of La Porte. My only complaint is that there is no host at the front. You have to wait around and hopefully catch the eye of one of the servers, who will seat you after they've helped their existing table. Food is good & service once you've had a seat is good.“
“My wife and I ordered the Sideout Cheeseburger through DoorDash, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere - though based on the food I look forward to dining in with them.I'd heard good things around town and thought I'd try it, sure enough it lives up to the reputation. The burger was juicy but not dripping onto the plate or making the bun soggy, even though it took 15 minutes to reach me the vegetables were crisp and flavorful. Normally I don't have pickles on my burger but decided to leave them on because, well, that's the burger with the rep, so I'd try it that way. To my surprise they were a great addition. Just as crisp as the other veggies, and the waffle cut made a great addition to the texture. The tang of the pickle complimented the rest.And it's a seven ounce burger; that's quite a slab of beef, so it was quite filling. The fries it came with were great, yes, but that burger took up so much room in my stomach I couldn't finish them.Absolutely awesome food, easily top five in the area (likely the #1 burgers) and I look forward to dining in next time and experiencing the rest of their menu.“

Had a delicious flavored soda, and made accidental discoveries along the way! Cozy and warm atmosphere, and the sense of community in this building was very strong! I will definitely be making it a habit of visiting when I visit Laporte!“
