just left akropolis and witnessed the owners giving free food to a person in need that came in. if you haven’t supported their small business on south st in Lafayette, please do. their food is delicious and the people that work there have a heart from God.
These gyros are huge and the falafel are fresh and flavorful. You get a lot for the money, which is hard to still find these days. And it's delicious.Very clearly a family-owned Greek joint with all the atmosphere. Loved hearing the Greek folk music playing on a stereo on the counter between the dining area and kitchen.
