You can tell when the owner's heart is in the business, and that's evident at Mi Cabañita. The menu is the perfect size, with all of the authentic Mexican standards, and a few off-the-beaten path offerings to keep it interesting. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING I had the nachos supreme (without meat). Excellent!!!! The guacamole is some of the best I've ever had. My husband had tacos - tripe, carnitas, and chorizo. With a side of rice and beans. He LOVED them! Fresh homemade chips are crunchy and flavorful. Salsa is also incredible! Hot sauces are also excellent -- the heat sneaks up on you.

really friendly family owned restaurant. the al pastor tacos are so delicious and some of the best tacos i’ve ever had in the midwest. my friends and i return frequently to get food from here and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in west lafayette!
