Recently visited Cabos, our local ice cream spot, and let me tell you, it's the kind of place that makes waiting in line a worthwhile endeavor. Yes, it was bustling to the brim, and there was quite the wait, but it's a small price to pay to support a local family-run gem like this.The service? A+ all the way, despite the rush. You're met with nothing but friendly faces and warm welcomes. It's clear the team at Cabos cares about their customers and their craft.Now, let's talk about the main event - the ice cream. If you're going to make one choice, make it the Cookies Monster. It's an irresistible twirl of Oreo and Chips Ahoy with blue vanilla (signature Cookie Monster color) that'll have you swooning from the first spoonful to the last. Trust me, it's a must-try.The only small downside? The prices are a touch on the high side. But considering the quality and the sheer joy this ice cream brings, I'd say it's worth the occasional splurge.So, in a nutshell: Cabos is the place to be for incredible ice cream and friendly service. It might not be a daily stop due to the prices, but it's definitely worth the wait and the occasional treat-yourself moment. Can't recommend it enough! Make sure to stop by when they're open for the season.

We love Cabo’s! We go out of our way every time we are in Indiana to go eat their amazing food and ice cream. Some of the best tacos and tortas we’ve had anywhere and the ice cream is great too. Give them a try!
Place is amazing a gem in the city, horchata tasted better than 90% of the places in Chicago!Diverse menu, makes any dulce vida look inferior by comparison. 10/10 a must if you’re visiting

Adorable little taco and ice cream shop! The owner is so sweet and let us try a sample of the Hibiscus strawberry tea too! It's delicious ? We highly recommend the steak tacos, steak and pork quesadilla, and the bubble waffles! All sooo good!! And the pineapple sorbet and ? freshwater drink. Awesome ? ❤️
