Order from a kiosk. Ordered two meal deals. And two shakes. Pick the meals up at the counter. The buns were hard and cold. Fries were hot!! As for the shakes I went up asking about them. Given a rude reply say yes they are coming. Finished our meals and ready to go but no shakes yet. Went back up...rudely told she had to get the food out first. How about working on an order getting that out. Had to wait a little longer and finally the shakes showed up. My husband's was fine but my Mint Oreo shake was plain vanilla, such a disappointing stop. May never return to Steak n Shake after this experience.

We ordered the milkshakes, and they were good and thick. He forbrhe oreo cookies amd I got the chocolate peanut butter cup. Yum yum... we went thru the drive thru, so by the time she finished processing our payment, our shakes were done. So, no waiting.

The new service model is abysmal. No cashier, no cash, kiosk order only. No staff to clean tables it would seem. My burger was served with a stale bun. Seating worn out and deteriorated. Please just go out of business.

Place wad dirty, waited long time for food , hamburger was burnt, cotton candy shake tasted like a bad vanilla shake.
Went through drive through lane --- incredibly slow, no iced tea at all, and the fries were dumped out in the bag on top of everything else.

It was nice to have Steak 'n Shake open again. I like Steak 'n Shake food and after not having any for about 2+ years, this location did a great job living up to my pleasant memories. The only knock was a simple housekeeping issue. The dining area floor felt greasy and the booth tables needed a good wipe down. I grabbed some paper towels.from the men's room, got it a little wet wiped it off and all was good. Glad to have S&S back!
Been years, fries still soooo good. We were the only ones in the restaurant. I got wet paper towel to clean our table prior to eating. At least one staff member saw but didn't acknowledge. Almost every table was not clean. Why aren't the help cleaning the tables and sweeping during slow down? Food is good and reasonable priced but try different location.
