Love the products. We’re fortunate to have Truffles in our neighborhood…

We have been buying cakes from Truffle’s for years. Best bakery in Northwest Indiana. Our last purchase was a cake for 100 people for a birthday party/4th of July celebration. The cake was absolutely beautiful and as always delicious!!! Everyone enjoyed the cake and we received so many compliments for the cake. The chef is absolutely amazing and she makes sure that your are satisfied with your purchase. She even helped me to carry the cake to my car because when I was at the bakery I was with my two year old daughter and she went above and beyond to make sure the cake was going to arrive safe at the destination. I would give truffles 10 stars but google only allows 5.

I’ve been getting cakes and cookies from Truffles for my family for years and never once been dissatisfied. Their cakes are always fresh and the Bavarian cream is the best. If you’re a self proclaimed cookie aficionado like myself you will find they have the best smiley face cookies around with real chocolate on top. I buy at least 4-6 at a time because they don’t last long around me lol!

I've been going here since 1997. Hands down the best pastries in Indiana!

Great pastry shop. Cream puffs are amazing! The only reason for 4 stars is they are just not open enough. I’m hoping they don’t close permanently as they are only open 2 days a week now as they say due to covid. Unfortunately this is the route I’ve seen with many businesses trying to stay afloat on such limited open times.

I'm familiar that this bakery closes for the season, my frustration is that the seasonal re-opening seems to change at the drop of a hat. I swear back in December I was told they'd re-open in March, but went today (3/22/2021) and they were still closed, now with a sign saying they'll re-open in April. I wish they'd pick a hard date to stick to every year.

I have been coming to truffles for over 20 years and besides normal price increases due to inflation everything tastes excellent. The cream puffs are the best I've ever tasted. The chocolate croissant is filled with just enough chocolate. Their yellow frosted smiley face cookies have a flavor that's difficult to describe but are addicting. I have purchased some of their specialty cakes and that are worth the cost. Very ornately designed with lots of  flavor. The cashier in the front is very nice and takes safety protocols very seriously. They do close after New Years until April

I was very disappointed to find out the kitchen staff does not wear masks during this covid pandemic. The women working the front wore a face shield but no gloves nor was she washing her hands between customers. This all took place the day before Thanksgiving

We stopped in on Wednesday to get a dessert for Thanksgiving and got the Flourless Chocolate Ganache tart. It was delicious! Made with rich chocolate and raspberries on top with chocolate shavings. Put the cherry on top of our evening! Will be back soon!

I'm truly disappointed and sad that I have to write a bad review.I have ordered from here for the past four years. I picked up a carrot cakeon Friday and some smiley faced cookies. (which were stale) The ones in the front case looked great, but she grabbed them from the back (and didn't show me ). So on to the Carrot cake my daughter in law was dying for. We were so looking for it to being scrumptious. Took the first bite and BLAH.. It didn't even have cream cheese frosting... NO FLAVOR at all... We were all sooooo disappointed. I will find a different bakery for future birthday's. To the cookies to the cake... NOT GOOD... DOWN HILL..! And I paid $30 for a cake with no flavor...TRULY DISAPPOINTED!
