“This is a fun little restaurant that seems very well loved by Anderson locals. We went at 2:30 and luckily found 2 stools together at the counter. Even at that time on a Monday afternoon, every seat was taken. The service was good and all the staff were extremely friendly. I am giving 4 stars for the food. I had a bowl of chili and a hamburger. DH had an onion burger and ff. The menu is somewhat limited, and the food was average. This place is really more about the history and uniqueness of the building than the food. We would most certainly return and try the tenderloin and a shake!“

“I had scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, rye toast, and sausage. I am a very picky person, and I always get things done extra, and they did everything perfect! Plus, the sizes are large! You definitely get your ? worth. The waitress was very friendly and down to ? she also kept up on our drinks. “I personally really enjoyed my first experience here. After turning 21 a week ago, i'm new to the bar scene and was skeptical and intimidated by this very brash and roughneck kind of place. The bartender was amazing with helping me and my friend decide what to get and the drinks were awesome. It seems like everyone here knows everyone and is a regular, so i feel like a stranger in a new land but everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Overall, i enjoy this place and will definitely be back!“

“I love this place. If you're looking for country club golf this isn't it. It is a beautiful working man's course. Some improvements need to be made and they are working on it. The greens and fairways are well kept. Fantastic views from several high points around the course. I drive 35 miles to play there and always enjoy the experience. Friendly staff and a fun challenging course for the average golfer.“
