I've never had buttered toast on a club sandwich before. OMG, was it tasty! Best club (and biggest) I"ve had in recent memory. Same with the tater tots. Delicious. Good service. Good food.

We tried Roots for the first time 1/21/23 and we were impressed with the entire experience. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all great. I had the Border Burger and my girlfriend had the Bricklayer while our daughter had the Karen burger. We all loved the food. I also want to mention that our server, a young lady named Julie, was friendly and attentive and she deserves recognition for doing excellent work.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight before the highschool football game, which my sons team won and had a delicious dinner. I had the Southern Pride double burger and it was an explosion of flavor with each bite. My wife order buffalo chicken tenders with ranch. She said the tenders were good anf the ranch dressing was superb, definitely not from a bottle. I also ordered a coffee stout beer by the name of Bad Dad you're Grounded. It was an excellent choice. If we are ever new Ball Srate University again we will have to stop back and try something else off the menu. To sum it all up, delicious food, good service and a nice atmosphere. A must stop if you are in the mood for a great burger.

Excellent place. Popcorn on all the tables to start which is a nice touch. Burgers and wraps are so good and the pretzel bites are fantastic! Service was a tad slow, but overall very good. The fried Oreo’s are not as good as I thought.

The first time we ordered it was amazing. Got the curry tuna salad wrap. Got thr same thing today and it was barely edible. Husband forced his down, I ate 1/4 of mine because it was a wrap with almost no filling. There is no consistency in ingredients, I ordered the same thing both times and the only similar ingredient was the protein and there was barely any of that. I basically paid afor q cucumber and lettuce wrap with q dollop of tuna. The bottom half of one of my sides had nothing in It, and there was maybe a teaspoon of tuna in the whole wrap. The chips tasted like old, dirty oil. We will not be eating here again. Don't waste your money. Very expensive for wasted money and and I didnt get to eat lunch so now I have to spend more on a place with quality food.

I saw them on GrubHub for the first time and decided to give them a try. It was SUPER expensive, but I had a coupon. I ordered the Thai Shrimp wrap. It could have been good, but the shrimp tails were still attached to all the shrimp and it was chock full of raw onion. The description makes no mention of onion. Believe it or not, some people do not like raw onion. Such an overpowering flavor. Once I dissected the whole sandwich, removed the shrimp tails and raw onion, there was not much left. By the time it gets to my door, I've paid $16 (with the coupon) and that's a bit pricey for a soggy tortilla, three pieces of shrimp, and some cucumbers, and tomatoes. The fruit cup was really good and it did come very quickly.

I don’t typically post negative reviews but this is warranted. I order today for the first time after seeing it on Door Dash. I ordered a Lemonhead wrap and waited roughly 40 mins to receive it. The dasher was very polite so no problems there but I get it out of the container and the chicken in it is very clearly RAW. The whole thing was inedible to say the least. I try to call “Phat Wraps” and it goes directly to Roots. I try to call on three separate occasions throughout the day and no one answered & there was no way to leave a message. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again nor would I encourage anyone else to.

Roots will most likely be our "go to" place anytime we go to Muncie. - Great food. Everyone in our party was happy with their meal, but I highly recommend the Southern Pride burger with the tots. I tried the fries, they were pretty good also. - Good/quick service - Great value for the quality and quantity of food served. - Popcorn was a nice surprise and a nice change from peanuts or bread....it was also very tasty - A great menu that offers a wide variety of options.

Great stop in the village on campus. Good food and prices. Popcorn when seated and kids eat free on Sundays. Also kids get to get their own ice cream cone for dessert.

We were visiting Ball State today and looking to have lunch at a local restaurant. We sourced Roots Burger Bar on Tripadvisor. I was surprised to find that they had a variety of plant-based options, since burgers are their specialty. I ordered the hummus plate and fried brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts are excellent.. great flavor. The hummus plate was good too.. as expected, except for the addition of giardiniera (a spicy vegetable mix), which was a wee bit too spicy for me. Overall we had a great experience and would eat here again if we were in town.
