I don't what it is about Savage's Ale House but they really know how to bring it to you. The food is always delicious every time I visit, drinks are fresh and cold every time you order which as well, the staff are attentive and capable at their jobs right on to the last minute they're on the clock, the decor is that of a place that's original, welcoming, and made to look as if was homemade by fellow locals, and the people who come are just always having a great time without any big incident happening. It's nothing short of a miracle yet this place has earned every right to be called the best bar in all of Muncie, Indiana.

Delicious food (even vegetarian options), great rotating tap options, and a welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I loved it so much we had our wedding after party there. If there was a Savages where we moved we’d be there weekly

One of the best atmospheres unique to Muncie. The food is great and the vibe is perfect. Make sure you see what beers they have on tap, they like to cycle their drafts and it may not all be on the menu

I ordered 2 burgers for carry out. It took an hr to get my food. And there's no bacon when I paid extra for it. There were 2 girls serving the whole floor and bar area. What a joke. Won't be back.

Great, friendly service. Awesome food and great selection of beers. We had their yummy cauliflower “wings,” onion rings, and BLT.I’d visit weekly if I didn’t live 500 miles away.

Nothin like a BLT and a Chuck Berry. Always a great time at Savages

Such an incredible atmosphere, and the food was just as impeccable!! Everything was served quickly and hot by fantastic servers, and the draft selections are hard to beat. The flavors are bold and phenomenal (especially the jalapeño blue burger). It’s very obviously a local favorite, and I’m very glad that I heard about this place through word of mouth on my first day so I could continue to try more of the menu. I don’t live around here, and I didn’t expect to unearth such a gem on a work trip. I felt very comfortable there as a trans person, and left satisfied every time. My brief visit to Muncie was certainly highlighted by this delicious eatery.

Good local place, if you're cool with with loud music. The food is always solid, with vegetarian options. Not impossible to do keto here. Rotating beer selection tends toward trendy, fruity, oddball choices, but they do keep a few respectable craft beers on tap as well.

Very good place. Beer is cold and lots of different flavors for every kind of persons taste. Even found a drink for my wife who is picky when it comes to ciders... food is above par and service is none other in this town. We had Ed helping us and made the experience even better.

Love coming to Savage's. Have been here dozens of times and I don't live in Muncie. It is a must go when you are in town and hungry/thirsty. My co-workers and I come here for lunch and dinner frequently. We also bring customers here when they are in for a late night bite to eat. Disappointed with my most recent experiences however. One of the waitresses has been rude, appearing and acting aggravated she had to deal with our group. (We brought clients in for drinks and dinner, about a $350 tab at the end of the night. And not our first second or third time doing this). The same waitress has been present 3 times in the past week and despite efforts to be nice and pleasant with her, she just seems pissed to be at work. Tonight my co-workers and I came in after a 14 hour workday and the same waitress crudely told us, "if you are here to eat, we sent the kitchen home early". We walked out. I like this place. It is one of the few that is open for late night food options outside of Applebee's or Taco Bell. Highly disappointed I'm writing this review, hungry and thirsty...

Waited in the entryway while the waitresses walked by 5 times and not once acknowledged us, "be right with you..." nothing.
