When we first got there the waitresses were yelling about not making any money , we got our food and it tasted amazing until there was a roach in the chicken parm . The owner was very unprofessional and got in his car and left without even saying sorry . It’s a no for me !

I Had the Carbonara, it was good and I would recommend it to anyone that likes pasta and Italian food. I Cleaned my plate. Service was great. If you don’t appreciate more authentic Italian food, don’t eat here. All the bad reviews are just people that would rather eat fake Italian Olive Garden with oversized meatballs and gargantuan piles of Parmesan cheese.

Kid-friendliness: We were a total of 10 people, three of which were children. Server was very accommodating and there was a kids menu that was budget friendly and not overly skimpy.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Piccata

Good Italian food. Nice atmosphere, although I did carry out because it was late. We were just traveling through area. I would eat here often if I lived

Went for a birthday dinner ( didn’t I already publish this review ) enjoyed the quaint cozy atmosphere and polite and lovely staff ( I’m pretty sure I’ve already done this review ) had delicious appetizers ( bruschetta and fried zucchini - I know I posted a review already ) drank delicious sweet wine, enjoyed so many garlic knots, the best chicken piccata ( thank you for the giant capers mmmm ) and had a little cannoli for the birthday boy at the end. Okay so I think I posted this already but that’s okay. It’s a great cute place. Chill setting and dress up or down just relax and enjoy!

My wife and I were in New Albany, and friends made a reservation at Bella Roma, Friday, 10-6-23 at 5PM. Our waitress/server, Tiffany, was a joy and did a great job. The food was excellent, as was the wine. We liked the "open look and feel"The next time we're in New Albany, I have a very strong feeling we'll be eating at Bella Roma.

Food was good. Service was good, but short of staff. Very hard to get a parking space. This could be due to a Halloween event next to restaurant. I would dine there again.

Honestly i dont have a palate for the fresh italian cuisine. I am more olive garden variety foody. It was good. Bread was amazing, the spaghetti and meatballs had a distinct fragrance i was not accustom to so i did not like that aspect. But i ate it because IT WAS 27 DOLLARS FOR SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS!!!!!Everyone there were very classy. Will go back and try something new as soon as my uncle dies. LOL

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, as we had a very good experience overall. The chicken parm was cooked perfectly. Garlic knots were flavorful. Pasta cooked to a perfect al dente. The highlight here was the marinara sauce. Had a lot of flavor and that little bit of sweetness that we grew up with back in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Wife ended up going with chicken picatta. She said it was flavorful and her pasta cooked properly as well. The prices are a little high for the portions, however, we chalked it up to the location. All the restaurants in this area are a little more expensive.Overall, a pleasant experience, and we will definitely return in the future.
