Meat lovers pizza was amazing. The sausage is so tasty. Authentic NY style. The garlic bread has fresh garlic on top.

I've had the lasagna and pizza. While I enjoyed the lasagna, the pizza is amazing. NY style, crisp in all the right places and delicious. HIGHLY recommend!

Food is very good with an authentic Italian ambiance. Would recommend for a laid back affordable ambiance.

Uh...no. I don't like to slam a restaurant and I won't here but this place wasn't my taste. I simply didn't like the pizza. Kinda reminded me of a pizza from the grocery that I just popped in the oven. On another note, the other couple that ate with us absolutely loved their pizza. It wasn't awful but wasn't worth more than 3 stars.

The food here is fine at best. I dont usually leave bad reviews but I feel like this place needs to be knocked down a peg, as we were lulled into a false sense of security from the good reviews and I wish someome had done this for us! They charge a premium price so I was expecting quality. Boy were we let down! The sauces were good, obviously homemade. The pasta was out of a box im sure, it was fine. My husbands seafood was terribly overcooked, and I got chicken added to mine which was not seasoned at all and just tasted like bland overcooked chicken. $26 for a chicken alfredo I could have made at home seems a bit steep. Especially considering that I didn't actually order the chicken alfredo... I ordered tortellini, and recieved fettuccine (I'm sure they would have tried to make it right if I had sent it back but after waiting for our food the first time, it was not worth the hastle). The garlic knots at the beginning were warm and tasted ok but they could have used some salt. The service was the bare minimum that I would expect to earn anything for a tip let alone the minimum suggestion of 25% that their machine gives you when you check out. That is a bold place to start tour suggested tip. Especially when we ran out of water and he messed up my order. My husband and I were the only people in the whole place and I didnt even come close to being served what I ordered (ordered tortellini, recieved fettuccine, remember)Maybe their pizza is better, but this is our first time here and odds are we will not be back to find out.

I sincerely hope that a new york cheese pizza is $33 if I come in rather than get it delivered, and if it is, there is no way its worth $33.

We have dined at this restaurant at least a dozen times over the past 5 years - every time we leave we say we will never go back in because of the service - but the food was always so well done we still keep trying - we are now done. If you go to their dining room count on a young (granddaughter?) being there -I assume the owners are the caretaker. She used to crawl under our table - we dealt with it because she was cute - she has grown now 10-11 years old and as we sat down in the bar area she had her own table next to us including her video games( playing them loudly) and Disney movies on the TV for her enjoyment - not ours…. She was seated under a sign reading no one under 21 allowed in this area. The menus reflects high end prices for appetizers and meals- we have had both here and we’re always willing to pay the price because of the quality and in spite of the atmosphere and poor service- NEVER AGAIN. We were celebrating our sons birthday and we’re looking forward to a special meal. After our waiter (no knowledge of the menu but nice) first brought us burnt rolls (garlic-knots a specialty here -burnt tonight) and then brought our appetizers -one look at them we knew they were not fresh, mozzarella sticks and Calamari were not cooked properly and obviously not fresh (processed)- Arbys cheese sticks are more generous- these were from Sysco or Kroger frozen food section.. and not edible- the tab was 24.00 for these we just had to figure the rest of the meal would be the same sub par quality and we were now in our order over 125.00 (price was never a factor going in as we have been willing to pay for the quality here in the past - they have never been inexpensive) with a cheap and slight glass of wine(10.00/very small pour) , we cut our losses sent the apps back, and cancelled our meal. We sat there for another 10-15 minutes discussing where we could find a good meal and we’re never approached by the owner(he was there)I think if he would have came out we may have gone back - we have enjoyed his food for years but the poor service/atmosphere/and now low quality of food and general poor customer service from the owner kills his place for us.. save time - go to Amore or Bella if you want to get good Italian in NA.

It's been a while since I last ate at Pizzeria Mimos but I have never forgotten my experience and when I return to the area in a few weeks, I will definitely stop to eat at this absolutely fantastic restaurant. The owners are very friendly (and are real Italians).I give this restaurant ***five stars***.For me it's like an Italian restaurant in Europe, because the cuisine is really authentic. Well done Mimos!
