“We don't come here a lot but I'm not sure why. This is a great breakfast joint. Their omlets and scrambles are on point. Eggs are perfectly cooked, and they actually put enough cheese in it. Most places skimp on the cheese. Not these guys! The kids absolutely love the Piggy pancakes. They use chocolate chips for the eyes, and the kids go crazy. The only complaint I have and it isn't really a complaint. it's just my preference. They don't butter your toast.The food came fast, and the service was great, and the place itself is very quaint. We will definitely be back!”

“We had dinner there with my husband's parents. The food was great. I had the Cordon Blue schnitzel. It was huge and the left overs made for a great lunch. They have a nice assortment of beer. My family enjoyed their beer. Love seeing the wait staff wearing traditional Austrian garb as well. Will definitely go back again”

“Food was a little pricey for the middle of nowhere but it was great. Best Reuben I've ever had...and I've had some good ones. Not sure if it was worth $18 but it was amazing. Actually liked the raspberry tea and I'm not a fan of flavored tea. Highly recommend!”

“I love this place. I placed an order for 4 extra large pizzas for the Career Academy Robotics club. I knew it was a tall order for a small kitchen but I just love their pizza so much Especially the Sharon their buffalo chicken pizza which I highly recommend. There was a little hiccup but the owner was extremely kind and compensating and we got our pizzas to the event on time and the kids gobbled them up. I told everyone there you have to try the perch and the Walleye .It's a down home regular friendly place that I love to visit. Fantastic food great value and friendly service”

Love to see this in the funny little town of Galien.In a town where it seems everything else has gone out of business, Ray & Al's is a bustling sandwich shop and bakery putting out excellent food.We tried the liverwurst sandwich, which seemed appropriate given all the German heritage in the area. It was good, but I'd try something else next time. It's a unique flavor profile worth trying at least once. You might love it!The Cuban sandwich had a great, smokey flavor to it.Macaroni salad was sweeter than we like it, but that's just personal preference.Baked goods were tasty - tried a chocolate donut and a gluten free brown butter oatmeal chocolate cookie. (it'd probably be even better NOT gluten free ;))Indoor was busy but tables turned fast. There are also a handful of outdoor seating options as well.Well done Ray & Al!”

“The gentleman working was very polite over the phone and very welcoming as I went to pick up my order. I loved the inside mini diner type vibe the inside of the restaurant gave. The pizza was good but I was not a big fan of the crust. It was crispy but it seemed like there was too much flour. Would definitely recommend to try.”

“This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made itnice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!”

“As one enters the Café it is a pretty average sized. A place big enough to enjoy as time slows down. Personally, I had a wonderful experience for the service was great for the way they treated me was without judgement or discrimination. Furthermore, they were very efficient for I receive my drink always within a 5-minute time span. Whether my drink be hot or cold it all depends on my mood, sometimes I just let my curiosity fly and explore the exotic drinks. The ones that seem too good to be true, only wanting to know how they taste like. When enjoying these drinks, I can't help but look around and admire the setting of the place. For I could see myself talking to my friend/s, or just trying to use the time to be productive and do some work. With how comfortable the seating it a complete place like nothing is is missing. Finally, I a place where I can say to myself “You be who you are truly are”.”

“This is our 2nd time going to this location. The first experience was not that great. The 2nd was better. The first time, they made us feel like mobile orders were not a priority compared to those ordering directly from the store or the drive-thru.”
