The food is delicious and people are super friendly. Hda the hangover tater tots and smores cheesecake. Both were amazing and we now have a regular spot to go when we are out.

I didn't have any change for the arcade, the manager was so friendly he gave my girls a couple of bucks in quarters out of his own pocket. Also the food was great. One more thing is they have beer and drinks. What else could you ask for!!!

Food was good very overpriced for the portions you got, I mean it was mostly tater tots with cheese and sour cream and some bacon. Chocolate cake is wonderful and very overpriced for the slice I got. Decor was great service was nice we'll probably go back there again if it stays in in business, and it probably will since rack and Helen's down the street is still out of commission at least for a while. However like I said at least my portion was overpriced for what I got.

The little town of New Haven is spoiled and doesn’t even seem to know it (yet). Adults and children will be equally pleased. The owners of The Hangout haven’t missed a beat - from pebble ice (best kind of ice) to the high quality food ingredients to the full bar wine, beer and liquor selection (the Old Fashioned slushee is pictured ?? ) to the arcade games and even a small outdoor patio. The owners and staff are great, so show up and support this amazing local small business!

Food was delicious and staff was so nice and inviting! Tater kegs were a perfect start! Had the BBQ chicken BLT tater tots.... So good! Not normally on the menu but is going to be a summer special. Will definitely be back and will save room for dessert next time!

I was really hyped to come here. I mean, what isn't catchy about "Drop it like its tot?" I love tater tots! The server that we got admitted she didn't work there all the time and didn't know about the vegan options. She asked someone else and they didn't know either. But from what I was told prior to coming, the tomato soup uses coconut milk and the vegetable soup is vegan too. You can get the totchos no meat chz or sour cream. Or apparently they have some vegan cheese that could be subbed in for the totzza tomato basil garlic sauce and that cheese only or merica no bacon sub that cheese and bbq sauce. However, my server didn't know this so I just had tots and veggie soup. First time I had veggie soup with bbq sauce in it (wasn't a fan.) The place was older. Nothing spectacular but the tots and prices were good!

My husband and I ordered carry out last week, it was our first time trying them and let me tell you it was delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted marvelous. when I arrived to pick up the order everyone was super friendly and helpful. will definitely be back. If you haven't tried them you definitely need to.

The lighting was different today with just the patio lights on which was really nice. They have a room to the right of their main entrance that has a modern music kiosk, basically you choose the music. High top tables and regular sized tables. The main room is decorated nicely, simple, and welcoming. New Haven should be thankful for such a place. It's in a location where there isn't very much traffic which is nice too. If you do come here, please tell others. Thanks again for a wonderful lunch ?

All of the tots were delicious! Started with the tater kegs, which were stuffed with bacon and gooey cheese. Next was the chicken club special, with a scrumptious sauce as well as bacon, red onions and tomatoes . To end the meal, were the sweet tots, with caramel and toasted marshmallow.

After a couple times in, it's of my opinion that it's overpriced and needs some work on seasonings! However, the staff is all very friendly, attentive and quick! the games are an added bonus to occupy kids while we wait. Thus far- we have tried the entire kids menu- Mac n cheese and chicken strips being the best. Kids nachos was just shredded unmelted cheese and ground beef. Buffalo chicken dip- super creamy- super kid friendly! Ask for a side of buffalo if you like the buffalo part of the dip. totachos, 'Mercia, the one with sloppy Joe. They are very easyyyyy on seasoning. Sloppy Joe tasted a lot like the taco beef which also tasted mostly like plain ground beef. The sauces on the tots make the plate decent. We have tried the buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich. Which are a complete miss on both. Chicken is one of the cheapest meats out there, chicken salad is made with canned chicken and the buffalo chicken was one slice of deli chicken dumped with buffalo sauce... both loaded with shredded lettuce on a fat hoagie. The sandwich's are a missed opportunity. A couple great ones with fresh ingredients would go far in new haven. Or leave them off the menu cause they aren't worth the price. Adding a few more slices of deli meat to the sandwich's, use fresh chicken for the chicken salad. It over all had the same shredded texture all around with a sweet kick to it. Needs tomatoes, onions, regular leaf lettuce. Eliminate a couple sandwich's and go hard on the ones you do. New Haven is rooting for success!
