“My wife and I love Slapfish. It's has unique seafood that has great flavor. I've tried a couple of items on their menu and been happy every time. My wife has a gluten allergy and hasn't had an issue with the food -- she loves their Power Bowl. The only downside is it's a bit pricy for ordering at a register versus sitting down. We will return for more!“

“Very good appetizers, the crab artichoke dip is officially one of my favorites now. But sadly after spending so much on the twin lobster tails I was severely disappointed. I could barely cut the meat, let alone chew it… had to spit out two bites because it wasn't chewable…. I had to get a steak knife to even attempt to cut it and even then had to tug and rip just to get bite sized pieces. All the effort to be chewing what felt like pure connective tissue and no meat with every bite. I was so excited as it was my birthday dinner as well, live and learn. If I come back again I’ll stick to appetizers and maybe a burger or something for my entree./update. They personally reached out to me to apologize for my experience and refunded my mother, who paid for my birthday dinner, in full for the lobster tails. I truly believe it was just an unfortunate one off. I should have sent them back when I first had the problem. But I’m too polite and non-confrontational for my own good.“

“The cutest restaurant on Main! The day I visited the staff was behind and they were up front about being behind. They asked if we could wait 15 mins. so that the staff could catch up. I did not mind and they also were very thankful in return.The menu presented refreshing options for this Carmel resident. It’s one of a kind and the food was delicious. I tried the blackened tilapia sandwich and my husband had the short rib and pimento grilled cheese. We both found our choices satisfactory. I also had the side of coconut rice and black beans which was slightly sweet as expected and still great. “Four of us dined at Nyla's last night and it was fantastic! The wedge salads were very tasty as was the Mushroom Cream Soup (both came with the meal). The two of us that ordered the Chicken Milanese said it was delicious! Another in our party ordered the Bone-In Pork Chop and declared it to be fabulous! (the presentation was beautiful) I had the Sea Bass and it melted in my mouth...so delicious! The cauliflower risotto that came with the dish was such a nice surprise and a wonderful accompaniment to the Sea Bass. Outstanding food, outstanding service and outstanding atmosphere...they have it all!“
“We went there for our 15th Anniversary. We had reservations, walked in and checked in with the hostess and she greeted us with a “ Happy Anniversary “. We were taken to our table where on the table was a card for us wishing us a Happy Anniversary and the whole staff had sighed it. Our waitress was “Aimee”, she also greeted us and was an A+ waitress. She was very helpful with the menu and answered all our questions. Everything we ordered was perfect and very delicious, Steve really enjoyed his ribs, and my scallops were awesome. “The sushi is outstanding. I eat sushi once a week and Chiba is now my new goto place for serval reasons. The bar area is in a separate building with a quaint seating area and a great vibe. The owner Keith is very involved with running the business and doing whatever is necessary from making drinks, taking orders and running plates. Keith is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chiba and don't miss the spicy tuna and spicy Salmon. Keith makes a mean Sazerac too. I will definitely be back!“

“The entrees we've had from them are great. Best Chinese food we've had. Dim sum is fine. Service can be a bit... they're never rude, just sometimes a little more curt than Americans expect. It's best to order "family style" and share. They bring out dishes as they're cooked, so not everyone would get their food at the same time. While a little pricey, portions for most dishes are good, and we always have leftovers. Faves: Peppercorn chicken, Sour & Spicy Shredded Potatoes, Any garlic stir fried veggie, Squirrel Fish, Crispy pork belly. One of our favorite cold weather places - hardy food and nice cup of tea.“
“Absolutely sensational. Went to St. Elmo's last night and honestly for the price Harry and Izzy's was by far the best. The Izzy NY Strip was an absolute ride with the sweet orange butter front and the peppercorn kick backend. I truly enjoyed it but it's not for the faint of heart, stay away if you dislike peppercorn or spice. My gorgonzola wedge was delicious as well and the mashed potatoes were good too. All in all bang for buck hard to beat.“
