My family has been eating at Townhouse Cafe multiple times a week since it opened in 1962. The staff is like family and the food is amazing down home goodness! I’ve loved the Townhouse my whole life.
This hidden Gem is the single best find of my culinary journeys! So, imagine Mel's Diner, half the footprint, twice the Love from the cooks and waitress/front staff than you can fit inside of a place this size - and you have the Townhouse Cafe. Stopped in on the way to Indy for some diner style breakfast. This is my first visit and I'm not from this area. Friendly place with friendly staff. Eggs benny was great and they serve Big Red.
