We stopped here on our way home for lunch. They were almost full. Tables full as well as the counter area. We found a table and I had ordered the daily special that day, the pollock meal. It came with 2 pieces of fish, fries & slaw. The other .eat ordered for us was a chef salad. It was so big, we each shared our meal. So we each had fish, fries & half a chef salad. The slaw we took home cause by the time we split both meals, we were Full! The carrots cake looked very tempting...read full review
We had a late breakfast before the new Godzilla ? at the nearby AMC. We pick it out based on reviews and being a non-chain establishment. Food and service was awesome… Biscuits and gravy w 2 eggs over medium and sausage w coffee!

Country Diner is a real gem. Great home cooked food from 6am to 1:30pm. The hand breaded tenderloin sandwich was large and meaty. Daily specials like beef manhattan, beans ham cornbread with fried potatoes, chicken and noodles, and great breakfast choices. Plenty of parking with room for semi's and right off the highway. Typically very busy, we arrived at 12:45 and had excellent service.
