Server Chris E. working on the evening of 4/4/24 deserves a promotion. This gentleman fully embodies what companies like Cracker Barrel can only hope their servers are presenting nationwide, but usually aren’t. He was kind, attentive, had a positive attitude, and very knowledgeable. You could tell he truly took pride in his work. Workers like this unfortunately often go unnoticed. I hope management sees this and acts accordingly.
My Dad wanted to go to Cracker Barrel for his birthday lunch. The food was really good and the wait staff was excellent. But the restaurant itself could use some changes. The table was rickety and showing it's age, as were the chairs. I've been going to this particular Cracker Barrel for the last 15 years and the decor has never changed. Came to the Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville, Indiana to have lunch and view the solar eclipse. Good food and excellent service ( thanks Nicole!). The store was very accommodating to the many out of towners who came to view the eclipse.
