I'm a fan of every J & J I've visited. They have a favorite of mine my entire life. Smelt. Also picked up whole wings and catfish filets for later. Im a truck driver. So I grab a few orders for days ahead. The smelt didn't make it out of Mishawaka, however. Ate them while driving. Perfectly cooked, in my opinion, as usually the case with all orders I've picked up. Small place. But most people tend to call ahead or order to go.
The store seemed like it had a rat issue, there was a rat trap down in a corner, then the fish was alright but when I asked for no tomatoes they still put them on there, the service is alright but it won't be too often that I'll stop in here.
