I have to many good things to say about this place. The food is excellent, I've had half of their menu. Service is outstanding. The building is unassuming, slightly dull bit the food makes up for it 100 fold. My choice for best Mexican food in St. Joseph County. You'll also find that the portions are large; chips and salsa that far exceeds average, and the coveted Torta (10/10). You may be able to find them elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find one better than this.
Not my absolutely favorite Mexican restaurant, but very good and very fast! Was one of my go-to lunches or dinners while I worked at Skynet! Try their green salsa for a little extra punch!

The food was excellent, the proportions were just the right size. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was clean, comfortable and relaxed. My visit was during what one would consider the normal lunch hour, and we were never rushed and we were back to work on time. I would (and will) definitely recommend La Esperanza to my family and friends.
