“I recently had the pleasure of dining at your taco restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The tacos were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavorful fillings. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff.I highly recommend your restaurant to anyone looking for a great taco experience. I will definitely be back for more soon!“
“One day I'll take a picture of my food before eating it all but until then you'll have to deal with a picture of my wife's. Straight fire. Exactly what you wanted and needed in your life. This is the type of place that no matter what you get you'll be not just happy but fat and content with all the life choices that led you to this place.“
“This is Our favorite taco place always full of Meat and all the other toppings to boot! The ladies that work there are sweet and welcoming if you want one of the best Tacos in So Bend go there! Don't slip on Taco Tuesday when their on sell! We always spend good weather dining in or take out! Because my husband think he needs 6 to 7 tacos!Parking: Kind of small but still not a issue for us we always have a place to parkKid-friendliness: Always see little ones in there, they like Tacos too“
“I was lucky enough to find this place due to a canceled flight from Chicago to Cleveland. We ordered the tasty tacos (pictured) and some gorditas. Unfortunately, we crushed the gorditas before taking a picture. They were well worth the 15-20 minute we were told it would take. I highly recommend stopping in. The service was great and the food was even better!!!“
“Being from Texas I am leery of Mexican food north of the Red River, but I just had a great dinner here. Martin my server was excellent. Chips and salsa was good salsa had good flavor but not to spicy. My enchiladas again had a great flavor. Very happy.“
“This place looks like an abandoned building so drive around back to find the door. No menu and waitress only spoke Spanish but the food was the bomb. Seriously. I eat all over the country and this is just real, real, real. The Mexican rice has nopales chopped up in it. You can taste the lard in the beans (rich and wonderful, not greasy). Steak tacos just as they should be... lightly seasoned, in corn tortillas, packed with meat. Can't believe my luck finding this place.“
“If you know nothing about Mexican/Hispanic cuisine this is your outlet. I have never been so wowed and overwhelmed with all the different varieties of items they have. Very friendly atmosphere. Very deep accents, but can still understand and communicate for those of us who are not fluent speakers of foreign languages. Very pleasant and accommodating customer service. They put the world foods aisle at your local grocery to absolute shame. They have a fresh produce department as well as a meat counter. They can accommodate all your needs. If you wanna impress your friends, forget Ole El Paso or take out from Taco Bell, shop here for a true authentic experience!“
“It's a small store with competitive prices. However, I would not say that the prices, particularly in produce, are any better than anywhere else. The produce section is small, but there are a few choices you probably won't find elsewhere. The quaint and clean meat counter was a nice touch, nestledin the back of the store. The steaks we purchased and later pan fried were very surprisingly very tender and reasonably priced. The employees were friendly. I felt welcomed as my two baby boys were running around a bit and the employees all seemed overjoyed to have them in the store. I'd like to thank everyone at the store for welcoming us on our first visit. We will return.“
“The food was excellent, the proportions were just the right size. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was clean, comfortable and relaxed. My visit was during what one would consider the normal lunch hour, and we were never rushed and we were back to work on time. I would (and will) definitely recommend La Esperanza to my family and friends.“
“Favorite Mexican place in the area. They have a vegan option for tacos that's so good. I look for their truck at all the area festivals and get out to their storefront on the west side whenever I can.Vegetarian options: They have a vegan soybean option for tacos that's amazing.“
“Tasty Mexican food at reasonable prices. I hope to return to this restaurant again soon.Parking: Good location with ample parking on Portage Avenue south of Cleveland Road in South Bend. Not far from the big Meijer and Walmart stores on Portage.“
“Simply good Mexican Food! Tucked into a retail strip, the seating area is large and clean. The service is quick and friendly. As soon as I sat in one of the comfy booths, the server brought water with chips and really good salsa. My enchiladas can out quickly and I enjoyed every bite. Good prices too. I'll def be back the next time I'm in town.“
“This is by far thee best Mexican restaurant in Michiana. I always feel like I am at home in BIG MOMMAS kitchen upon every visit. Sometimes when I have had a hard day of work, and I just need a break for lunch from work. This is my go to. The food is always good. The customer service is great! An A+ rating when it comes to solving customer complaints!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Sinaloense and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food at this establishment is simply fantastic, and I find myself coming back every Tuesday for their dollar tacos special. The flavors are always on point, and the carne asada tacos are definitely my go-to choice. The service at El Sinaloense is usually pretty good, but on this particular visit, it was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. It's always a pleasure to be treated so well. One aspect that I appreciate about El Sinaloense is that the food is not only delicious, but also affordable. The prices are reasonable, making it a great option for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The fact that they offer take-out services is also a huge plus for those days when I'm in a hurry or simply want to enjoy their mouthwatering dishes in the comfort of my own home.I should mention that El Sinaloense can sometimes be a bit slow during peak hours, but personally, I don't mind the wait. The quality and taste of the food more than make up for it, and it's worth the patience. In conclusion, I highly recommend El Sinaloense for anyone looking for delicious, affordable, and authentic Mexican cuisine. Whether you dine in or opt for take-out, you won't be disappointed. Give their carne asada tacos a try - they are truly outstanding!“
“Stopped in for an early dinner/late lunch around 4:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. Only a few patrons were seated when we arrived. We were greeted and seated to a booth pretty fast, chips and salsa came out to us immediately. Then we waited, over 10 minutes before anyone came and asked us if we wanted a drink, and or if we were ready to order. I was pretty disappointed at this point. Chips were good, salsa was just average. Once we ordered the food it seemed to fly out of the kitchen, like REALLY fast! Portion sizes were awesome, especially for the price. Great tasting food! I'm sure if this place gets more and or better help with waiting staff this place would be exceptional. We will be back soon, hopefully the service is better next time. Highly recommend for the FOOD and PRICES!!“
“I enjoyed lunch here. The service was fast, the food was delicious, the pricing was reasonable. This place has recently changed hands and I think the new owners will do well. The menu has a lot of options, some that other local places do not offer. I'm sure I will be back.“
“Once I ordered a Panini with no tomato and they put tomato inside of it. (im allergic to tomatoes) after a few minutes my throat started to close. My sister ended up checking the panini and found tomatoes in it. I was in hospital for a few days but other then that everything was great.“
“Visited on Mother's day, very busy as to be expected. Sat in a corner near a small family. Their food got out quite a bit quicker than ours despite us ordering first. That was fine, I just hope that the floor space is cleared up more, patrons and staff seemed to be tripping over any available space to put feet.I also got a stuffed french toast. Nothing stuffed inside, just smothered. I was looking forward to gooey filling.“
“We have heard nothing but good things about Cinco 5 so we decided to try it out. The service was excellent. We asked many questions and our server was gracious and helpful with her answers. The ambiance has something to be desired. There are two main dining areas. One is cozy with all booth seating. The other, where we sat, is more wide open with a few tables and no booths. IMO it's quite an odd set up. They could benefit from an interior designer. Not really a big deal to me though. The food...ah, the food! Chef's kiss to you Cinco 5! Amazing! We started with the pork dumplings. So good with the spicy dipping sauce. I had the pad thai with a heat level of 2 as suggested by our server. The portion was generous but still a tad spicy for me. Next time I'll try spicy #1. The hubs had the chicken and steak fajitas. They didn't come out sizzling like our neighboring table's did but he wasn't mad. The man is a fajita connoisseur, these take the top spot! Both meats were tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. Two big !! What a great meal! We can't wait to return to Cinco 5. You will love it too!“
