“I love the plants and went in to get a latte- which was amazing! After spending a weekend full of fun my youngest said the best part of his trip was the mint from the coffee shop- thanks! That mint kept him entertained all the way back to Indianapolis!”

“Definitely out of the way to get to but worth it. Staff has ALWAYS been friendly and helpful . They have some unique wines that others do not carry. They have you covered from dry to sweets. Nice food to add on to have with the wine. Doing the wine club worth it unless you just plan to not drink wine anymore. Great place to sit outside there and enjoy the peaceful setting while drinking their wine . They have events from time to time that are worth checking out. You'll be surprised by this winery that is so out of the way. Just don't give up on it since is in the country. Cheers!”

I usually have breakfast here, and it's always great. Last trip I had the country omelet and I loved it. It would be nice if they were open a bit later. I'd love to see a dinner menu. “Sometimes, a subway just hits the spot. Ordered a rotisserie chicken sandwich with garlic sause and passed it thru the garden. The staff was friendly, made my sandwich as requested, which was perfect. Ordered 3 cookies, and all 3 were winners.”

“For a McDonalds this was a great stop. The prices were fair with a few specials available as detailed by the cashier.The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Even though there was only one register things moved quickly with the help of two self help kiosks.The food was made fresh and served quickly. There was plenty of access to straws & napkins and the drink machine was well maintained including the floor around it. The dining area had several guests but was overall very clean and well maintained. In the bathroom there was plenty of paper in the stalls, soap at the sinks, paper towels, and also a speed dryer.The staff were super. Very friendly, with smiles all around. Overall a great stop for a quick breakfast. If I ever need a quick mean in Spencer IN again, I would definitely consider coming back here.”

And great ice cream to boot.They were doing a bit of reconstruction, so it wasn't organized as it usually is for its full "school room" setup, but still fascinating to see how much original infrastructure and materials were in the space from over 100 years ago.The lady we spoke to was very kind and knowledgeable about the different items. It made for a great time we weren't even originally looking for.”

“The best chicken bacon ranch pizza! We had a birthday party last Saturday and they were so sweet and accommodating. And we had 7 kids! Didn’t even ask for refills. She was just right there. All the pizzas were amazing. And the best part of course is the BREADSTICKS ???”

When there are so many other rave reviews for this place, do you think you accomplish anything with your passive aggressiveness? I've worked in this bakery from its very beginning and love it. From the atmosphere to the attitude (except for grumps like Ben) to -most especially- the FOOD. She has grown this place to a Bloomington hotspot. And despite working there, I STILL enjoy eating here on my free time! She is in such demand that we had to extend our brunch hours to the entire weekend and we still sell out every time! Do yourselves a favor and stop by, pick ANY pastry and experience for yourselves why you cannot just "go next door to Baked" to enjoy such delicacies.”

“This is my husband, and I first day in Portsmouth, after moving here. This was probably the best option to get a taste of Portsmouth. John was our waiter and he was phenomenal. His communication was on point, he knew about everything on the menu, and all of his recommendations we took into consideration, tried the food, and absolutely loved every single dish that you see attached to my photos. The best thing definitely was the lemon tres leches with raspberry drizzle!! Our waiter, he recommended this, and it was to die for, he also recommended the tiki cart, and my husband loved his alcoholic beverage. The bathrooms are clean, this place had tons of people in it, I love the set up, I love the decorations, there's even outdoor seating as well. We will definitely be back to try different items on the menu anyone new to Portsmouth, or haven't tried this restaurant yet, you are missing out, go check it out now!”

“The pizza on the pizza bar tasted great, and the pizza rolls were nice for something different. I was surprised there was pizza sauce and cheese dip offered on the buffet. The salad bar had a lot of vegetables to choose from. There were arcade games and a tap room that I didn't try.”
