“1st time eating here. It will not be my last. My server, Roxanne was great. Loved the atmosphere. I sat at a table in the bar area. I ordered the mussel appetizer, they were the best mussels. The mussels are cooked in a garlic white wine sauce with sautéed cherry tomatoes, served with toasted bread. For dinner I had 4 buttermilk battered butterflied jumbo shrimp. These shrimp were cooked to perfection! I also had 2 pieces of cod, along with creamiest cole slaw. The meal also came with a hush puppy, crunchy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside and a side of French fries. I live 1.5 hours away, but I will drive here for the delicious seafood. I can hardly wait to try their crab Rangoon sushi roll, seafood pasta dishes and pretzel with jalapeño cheese sauce. “Not sure why I haven't tried Phil B's before today but am I glad I finally did! I ordered a veggie egg white omelette, which was excellent ?. My husband ordered the lunch special, a chorizo burger. Came with a boatload of French fries prepared perfectly and served hot. Our server Anna, provided wonderful service. She was very attentive and my coffee cup was always full. The entire staff were working hard and had a great team attitude! Sorry I failed to get a picture of our meal... I will next time. There will definitely be a next time and soon?“
“Great food! Just strange situation. The 9pm time google has listed is incorrect. Was told when I called in at 8pm that the kitchen is probably closed for a sesame chicken to-go order . The hostess came back and asked if that’s all it would be. I said yes, just that one entree with a side of spinach. Apparently the spinach tipped the scale bc I was told they couldn’t do my order ?“

I'm assuming it was the manager, ( he didn't ID himself) he came to our table & said there was a party of 8 that was edgy & waiting to be seated. ( they do not take reservations). He asked us to move to another table, so they could seat the party of 8. Manager said he would like to give us a $10 gift card but never came back. It was really all about how he approached us. Quite rude & awkward for us. If you're going to comp a customer you should do it. A young man from the party of 8 came over & thanked us. “Had dinner here a few weeks ago and still day dreaming about it. Started with one of the specials, they were goat cheese stuffed mushroom caps in a velvety red sauce sprinkled with a crunchy nuts, absolutely delicious. My husband had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The asparagus was charred and seasoned just right. Storm is a beyond EXCELLENT server and we can’t wait to come back! The stuffed avocado is great for vegetarians!“

It's exactly how I remember as a kid, food wise that is... the atmosphere used to be more 50s nostalgia with juke boxes vending in each booth! Regarding the food, we all ordered your typical round of burgers and shared a side of Irish nachos, which are loaded cheese fries, topped with your choice we have bacon and green onion and smother it under ranch.I drink a cherry coke, that they put a cherry syrup in. Grandma got a green river, that reminds me of a lime ice popsicle in the plastic sleeve...“

But, this small establishment hides some Really Nice People and Good Food (a wide variety of dishes and combinations). Not a lot of tables inside, but we've never had to wait. Great People and Great Food. The type of place I'm used to seeing in small towns as I would travel on my motorcycle. Give them a TRY.“

“My husband & I decided to pop in after a date night at The Press a few stores down. We came in about an hour before close, guy up front asked about our preferred seating(at the bar, table, or booth) & did not rush us at all while looking at the menu, or when I had questions. All the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, polite & attentive. So much so, I'm writing a review. Which I've never done for food service. I got the brisket Mac, & a the pretzel app. Whatever mustard sauce they gave us? Delicioussss. I wanted a tub to take home. The mac n cheese was a lil' watery, maybe juices from the brisket?? Idk. But it was still rlly good. Bottom line, i loveee this place. Adore the staff & their great service.“
“I recommend sitting down in this little dive bar and enjoying their tacos along with the environment. I did and it was great. The bartender was very prompt and inviting. The bar had quite a few people sitting down at it but the booths were readily available and there is plenty of room. If I'm ever back in the area I'm definitely stopping in again and I hope it's sometime soon.“

It really was quite lovely. I ate my leftovers the next day at work and they were asking what smells so great so I gave them a small bite of the filet and mash and they both closed their eyes and made a small happy sound. “Very nice cheap and a lot of food for the money very nice staff because I am disabled not a big fan of restaurants where you have to pay at the counter but on top of this new payment system was not working properly with a little frustrating but all in all a good experience would definitely try again hopefully next time all the bugs are ironed out or I might just make sure I have cash on hand good old-fashioned cash:-)# no cashless Society LOL for this reason and many others“

“Their wings are special. I haven't been there in a while. The last time I had a different experience. This time the traditional wings were excellent. Crispy, hot and some of the best sauces I've ever had. Mondays the wings are specially priced and you can order however many you would like....any number! Our service was great. My wife tried the chicken wedge salad. She liked it but there could have been more chicken to the order. We will be back!“

“A bit of an awkward entrance, Sat near the bar on the 1st floor. Was very warm in there, a bit tight. Didn't get the upper deck experience but I heard it's great. The bruschetta was AMAZING ?? and the drinks i had were too! Definitely worth the visit.“
