Food is good but the ambiance could be better. I do appreciate that this place is open on Sundays and Mondays which is something that is lacking in Valpo. The lighting is harsh and is not inviting. There is also always a cart of dirty dishes near the bar. I'm not sure why this has to be there. I understand it is convenient for them, but it is a horrible look to have dirty dishes sitting in the middle of the restaurant right next to guest seating areas.
Went here for dinner the other night with our family and we had a nice experience. This isn't my first time, but it was for some of my family. We all managed to find things we liked on the menu (even though its not very extensive). I had sushi, my daughter had steak and really enjoyed it. I wish they had smaller portions for kids though. Ordering an entire order of steak for a 10 year old is expensive and only half of it gets eaten. Other than that everything was good. Looking...read full review

I typically enjoy coming to this place for sushi with my wife. There sushi is pretty good. My wife enjoys th Crab Rangoon, though I am still waiting for the crab part of the appetizer take an appearance. We also ordered the beef fried rice and that was mediocre at best, definitely no more than two stars for the fried rice. The wait staff are okay but you won't see them often.
