Restaurantji unveils West Lafayette's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“One of our go-to places in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area for Mexican food! I have not tried the food truck, but we have eaten at the physical location many times. The food is some of the best Mexican food you can get in town and I love that they serve breakfast! Everything we've had has been delicious and the service is always friendly.“
“Food is good with a lot of customizable options without any additional charge. Service is always quick for students looking for an affordable tasty meal in West Lafayette. Inside the restaurant is usually packed with students and families but also is a great place for takeout.“
“The food is hit or miss. Depends on what you order. My girlfriend got the quesadillas and it was juicy and cheesy and delicious. The fajitas are pretty good too! However, the tacos we got had very dry meat and no sauce to go with it. As for service or ambiance, we got takeout so I can't speak for that.“
“Great authentic Mexican food, great prices, huge portions, and our server was so sweet and attentive. Delicious margaritas, too! It's definitely a hole-in the-wall type place that's easily missed, but it certainly does not disappoint. I will absolutely be returning! ?“
“This is one of the new style Taco Bells which have kiosk ordering only. The employees were still nice though. Fast and accurate order! I ordered in the app for the deals but ate in the restaurant, the interior was a little grim in decor, but very clean.Vegetarian options: The best fast food restaurant for vegetarians, provided you find a good Bell where the chefs pay attention to swaps for beans when preppingKid-friendliness: This location had a high chair, very appreciated! There are many ala carte options good for kids - the cheesy roll up is a favorite, also the bean and rice burrito if you remove the spicy sauce.“
“It was my first time trying this cake place and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and accommodated all my requests which I put online. Although they don't have non-egg options, they have abundant options in eggs. It's better to look at their online options and then put the request because it gives you so many options to look at.“
“I really was a Chipotle super fan for the longest time. It's filling, affordable, quick, and delicious. I did recently have the worst food poisoning experience of my life after eating there. It's otherwise always been reliable I'd only say to maybe avoid the lettuce.“
“One of the (kinda) healthiest options you can get on Purdue campus! White/Brown rice with beans, your choice of protein, toppings, salsa, sauces and guacamole make for a delicious meal. They offer Rice Bowls/Burritos + A beverage for meal swipes and the portion size is decent. The tortilla chips are a hit or miss, sometimes they're too salty and other times, bland. There can be a long line during rush hours and if they stop service for a few minutes to refill the food, it can pile up. However, all in all, one of the best eats on campus!Vegetarian options: They have beans and grilled veggies for us vegans/vegetarians!“
“The service was amazing when we were first seated and gradually went downhill after we placed our food order. It's a Saturday night so it's on the busy side, which I can understand. My food came out slightly warm which was kind of disappointing considering the wait time. The taste of the food was delicious, especially the chips and salsa!“
