Some really good eats and great beer. While the beer selection isn't 100 beers, it is still a well though out selection of all around beer tastes. The food is great with low carb and vegan options.
We had not been to The Local in a while but it always used to be super busy and the food was consistently really good. Sadly this visit was a huge disappointment. It was quite empty for a Friday night, the food was marginal, and the service was just ok. The chicken and noodles was beyond bland with no depth of flavor or seasoning and it was a very small portion for a hefty price. The shrimp Po boy was so salty we left half of it uneaten. The nachos were excellent, otherwise the food was just satisfactory. The atmosphere felt a bit off. It was difficult to get service from our server. There was a tall dark haired woman that kept yelling at the server. Very strange ambiance that put a sour taste in my mouth. Won't be back.
