“I have always had good meals and good service at Heather's Dinner, but last week December 18 I order Biscuits and Gravy and was very disappointed! I know this is made with drippings from cooking sausage, but I also know when I have ordered this elsewhere there are small pieces of sausage in the gravy. Not at Heather's Dinner! There were specs os sausage, which provided we with a tastiest serving of biscuits and gravy. To me it tasted like flour and water. I asked if they could add a few pieces of sausage, but the waitress told me only if I paid for it. I declined and couldn't eat the rest. My recommendation is don't order the biscuits and gravy.”

“I typically stop in once a week and get a treat and latte. The baked goods are absolutely delicious and the latte is just what I need in the morning to kickstart my day. The workers are very friendly and puts a smile on my face each time I come in. Next time I need a special occasion cake, I will be ordering from Cake and Cups!”

“Stop in after golfing with my buddies. Very small town set up. Almost in the middle of nowhere but very good and with friendly service. The pizza was excellent and so were the wings. The beer was cold and the prices very reasonable. What a great surprise nice job guys we'll be back.”

“We never got the chance to eat here but I did want to write a review. 2 years ago my father in law got lost in your little town which is an hour away from where we live. Jim's Cafe allowed him to leave his car there until we were able to get a tow. The day we arrived was Valentines Day and it was negative 13 degrees. The cafe was closed but when we pulled in we both noticed that the place was named after my father who passed away 6 years prior and my niece who passed away at birth was part of your address. 4.5 months ago my father in law passed away. We felt the need to drive to see this cafe. We drove an hour on saturday and sadly it was closed. Everything we read on the internet said it was open til 2. We arrived at 12:30 and it was closed. The sign said 12. We were heartbroken. We just wanted to say THANK YOU and see why of all the places in town and my father in laws journey did this place be the place he safely ended up at.”

“I can remember as a JR going to Bailey school we would go to Bronco's to eat lunch they were located around 35 Broadway we would get 2 personal pan pizzas and a drink for a dollar thirty five that's where the poorest kids ate not Burger King or Corney King wow were those small pizzas good ?”

“Really enjoyed the Gyros plate. Very generous with the meat. You get one pita but honestly.. there is enuf meat for 2 sandwiches. It's served with Tzatiki sauce, lots of chunky Feta, onions, tomato slices and piping hot fries. My hubby got the Cam burger. I dont know what cam stands for but he said it was delicious. And probably 3" tall.Our waitress was sweet and her 1st day. She did good.It is chilly inside in my opinion. The exit door is right there and the cold just blows in with the patrons.All in all....definately go to Lupes you won't be sorry. Just sit far away from the door if you tend to be chilly.”

“The workers were great and so was my sandwich. Prices weren't bad, but the older crowd that frequents the place had to loudly talk down about "this damn younger generation" loudly enough for me and my wife and our 3 young kids to hear. So naturally I had to defend them and I yelled at them and there selfish generation for causing so many young screw ups in my "young generation." Don't go unless you want to fight with some Boomer's”

“We had the Turkey Manhattan. The food was good, the service was good. I give both of those a 5. Where I got my surprise was when I asked for the senior discount for my mother. We were told by the waitress, "She had to get that ok'd by the owner." She came back letting us know that he said it was "ok this time, but next time she had to order off the senior menu. " That won't stop us from eating there again, just very surprised.”

I went in to get take out on my way home from work, and these folks were busting their tails to take care of a way-higher than usual demand for food. Even though they were getting met with some rude and careless people, they kept pushing. THANK YOU. Thank you for doing your best in a crappy situation. Thank you for working way harder than what you get paid to do. YOU ROCK.”
