“I had the pulled pork which wasn't bad it just had hard over done pieces in it making it harder to chew. The cole slaw was the crunchiest I've ever had I wondered if the used the hard core of the cabbage. My wife had a tenderloin which was excellent. The fried pickles were ”
“Holy wow is all I have to say. My husband ordered carryout tonight from there and it was amazing. We ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom thing crust. It was perfect. Sauce was best I've had on a pizza ever!! It was cooked perfectly. We also ordered a large Italian grinder and they added banana peppers for my side as well as Italian dressing. It was one of the best grinders I've had since Lexys. Hands down. Also had the Bosco sticks. Omg. The cheese sauce that comes with them is a delicious bonus. There are a few pizza joints closer to us, but none of them we have tried have the same quality or taste. Plus the prices are affordable and very reasonable. Will definitely be our first choice from now on. Keep doing the darn thing guys. Thank you for amazing foods”
“Nothing has changed in this place for years, and there's something comforting about that. Small town diner feel with your traditional Midwestern fare. Keep your expectations in check and just enjoy the slow paced environment. My wife and I headed there after church one Sunday because I was needing a slice of pie (which is really the reason you go to Bob's) The ham loaf wan't as good as Mom's, but hit the spot. Two pieces of pie to take home after lunch and we were on our way.”
“This subway was really busy but seemed to move people through pretty quickly. Did great job making sandwich. Downside of this subway is that it does not use subway points or promotions because they are part of loves truck stop.”
“They have really updated upgraded and became a bigger better gas station and service area.Every time I see one on the highway I gotta stop and check it out. They have everything you ”
“Within the past few years, it's been hard to find really good places that kept the quality of the food. This one sure did and the pizza is amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.”
“Loved the store , Sasha was amazing . Great antique store would highly recommend. Has every thing you can think of and lots of different candy . A lot to shop around. I did not get to see everything. Store is in grabill omish town”
“I definitely gave them 5 stars! Donuts are very delicious, better than Dunken Donuts!Parking: It's a decent size lot, but not for a semi.Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids, but if you have kids, you won't leave without out buying any doughnuts.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps here.”
“One of our favorite places in and around Leo-Grabill. Some people might be put off by the animal displays, but it's unique and has a local connection. Prices are up from my last visit... but they are up everywhere.”
“I stopped after the farm show with 5 young men and ate and it was absolutely amazing everything from the food service and atmosphere we will definitely be back plenty of parking for semi'”
“We got 2 milk shakes (1 coffee, 1 black cherry). They were made perfectly in the classic way with real ice cream. It was well out of the way but worth the drive.”
“I've been going to this rustic old place for almost 15 years, laid back and friendly. It's been a great place to grab a beer, wine or lite bite to eat since 1895. Still has the original bar stand and alot of the original wood. This bar will take you back to the past.?”
“Best rice, hands down. Also the pastor is great, nice sized portions. Never had a bad experience here. Great back ups if you dont like pork is the chicken or steak. Only issue is the parking, but worth the "struggle".”
“Like this place bc of the variety of food. The fish on Friday's is very good. Not fancy but always clean and the staff is friendly. You can get American or Mexican food.”
“This is my favorite coffee place! They have the best Chai and I love their mochas too. The atmosphere reminds me of being in a Hallmark movie - just very calm and cozy. There’s plenty of seating inside, upstairs and downstairs. There is outdoor seating as well. They also have a public restroom. Overall just a great place to get some coffee or food and hang out!Parking: Free parking across the street, on the street, and on the other side next to the coffee house.”
“Adorable coffee shop! They offer a small food menu as well. The staff are fantastic!Parking: A fairly small (4-5 car) parking lot available. But there is some street parking as well.”
“Lunch specials are on point. Custom orders are always right when I receive them. Come here for lunch several times throughout the week because of the fresh ingredients. Also a nice variety to choose from so you don't get bored.”
“Well if you want your mouth to water as soon as entering the building.... you found the place. Best pies with the most amazing, tantalizing, magnificent cinnamon rolls!!! I had 2 gone before I left the parking lot the first time there. ?”
“This is home-cooking @ it's best. One of the specials today was the volcano pot roast which I had because it's one of my favorites. The roast beef is tender & plentiful with gravy over mashed potatoes & on a piece of white bread with onion straws on top. Somehow that piece of white bread tastes so good with soaked up gravy & reminds me of my youth. Seasoned green beans with onion bits & bacon round out the perfect meal. I had the leftovers for supper & it's great reheated, too. Harlan Cafe has great skillet breakfasts, sampler, & pancakes & several different waffles done to perfection. Never had a bad meal here!”
“I am bias because I love me some good times boneless chicken wings and the fricking burgers! Don't get me stared! Also if you get fries you better make them waffle fries! This place isn't just for drinks the fish is amazing too! And when they have chili it's a sin not to get some! Go go go go!”
“First time stopping in this fantastic coffee bar. It will be a regular stop when passing through Payne Ohio. They have an eaterie next door. Can't wait to try a bite. If it's any like the coffee bar I'm sure we won't be disappointed. The two ladies serving up the coffee were absolutely top notch.”
“My dad and I went in to pick up food for the few of us at the house. we sat in and waited for our food while we had a soda. i love that they serve cans with a glass of ice. the server was nice and held a conversation with us. turns out, my dads family had once owned this establishment. i was pleasantly surprised that our younger server was knowledgeable about not just his job but the history of this hidden gem. all of our food was delicious! burger was given compliments, my 7 year old nephew demolished his fish tail sandwich, dad's wings were to his liking and my pulled pork sandwich was amazing! you can definitely tell in every bite that this food made for quality not just quantity. even the tartar sauce had fresh dill weed chopped into it. i was impressed as well as proud of a legacy that i didnt know started with my relatives. the atmosphere is cozy and the quality shines there as well with nice sturdy woodwork and the bar top of pennies is beautiful. the staff are very welcoming and ready to cut up with you, as well as being caring to their regulars. i witnessed and older gentlemen say his good byes for the season and after he left, two of the staff mentioned that they should take him to lunch before he leaves. that right there goes to show that you have good staff who complete the experience at the oasis. keep up the good work everyone!”
“I'm in town visiting family--Picked up a large pepperoni with extra cheese Thanksgiving eve.Located right downtown in the metropolis of Antwerp next to the gun shop!Papa Oley's has a variety of sandwiches and Italian fare...pizza, strombolis, spaghetti, etc...giant cookies on the counter. The pizza had ample cheese and sauce...could have used a little more pepperoni, but wasn't bad. They use a conveyor oven and IMO the crust could have cooked a couple more minutes just to firm up. Still, the pizza was really good. Pizza was $14…a great deal and much better than most chain pizza shops. Stop in if passing through town.”
“Our first visit to Billy's was on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm and we will definitely go back. My hubby got the broasted chicken and it was delicious. He's looking forward to going back when they have their broasted pork chops. I had the ribs and they did not disappoint. Meaty and the sauce was so good. The only thing I could recommend would be to caramelize the sauce onto the ribs for an even better taste. The sides (mashed potatoes with gravy/corn/side salad) were all perfect especially those creamy, homemade mashed potatoes. Their chips and salsa were good but if you want a little heat in your salsa, ask for a side of their chopped green chilis to add to it. The only negative thing I can say is that the side of beans and cheese we ordered definitely needed some seasoning as we both found it very bland so we didn't eat it. We brought it home and my hubby doctored it the next day and it was delicious. I wish I could remember our servers name but I can't. She was a young, dark haired girl who was extremely pleasant and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit!”
“Had the enchiladas with red sauce. A little spicy but I would try again. Wasn't busy around 6:30pm and had great service including the owner! Nicely appointed decor; not overdone.”
“Great place to eat during the summertime I usually get a double order of their cheese curds with a double order of beer bartered onion rings and I also get their hillbilly burger and a chocolate shake. The business is owned by a very good family and their workers are very polite and timely. Payne Ohio is a very small town but if your driving around looking for a place to find something to eat in the summertime pay them a visit. They do have outdoor seating as well.”
“It was our first time there. Sharon the waitress was friendly and very attentive. We all were pleased with our food. They are worth giving them a try.Parking: There are several spots in front of the restaurant including handicap parking. There is also a big lot on the other side of the street.”
“I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this diamond d in the rough! The burgers are sourced by a local farmer, seasoned to perfection. I ordered the onion rings and the Big Dill Burger. Let me tell you, they were delicious! The grease is fresh and the food arrives hot. There are so many ice cream selections. You could possibly be there all day deciding what to order!Friendly staff and ownership tops off the list of reasons to give this sweet-treat retreat a try! ?Bathrooms - Clean / A+Serve time- Fast / A+Smells-Great /A+Sanatation- A+I'll be back for sure!”
“We always stop at Richard's when we're in town. Linda always greets us with the biggest smile. Good food and waitresses .Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access”
“I really enjoy this small town restaurant! The food is always warm, tasty and doesn't take forever to get. The servers are great. You don't have to wait for a refill on drinks; they are very attentive to that. The country breakfast bowl is one of my favorite meals. If I had to pick on something it would be with two of the pies. Their pies are awesome, but I cannot taste the peanut butter in the peanut butter or the chocolate/peanut butter pie. I think it might be that they seem to use some kind of peanut butter crumbles for the peanut butter flavor and that just doesn't seem to give the good peanut butter taste.”
