“The McClintock's are wonderful hosts. What a sweet experience between eating and the museum. Ken is a living breathing walking museum and I his sole audience on a spring monday afternoon was transported to another time and place. Savory food.”
“Just had another delicious lunch special. Last week it was Thai and today was pork tostadas. Both were great!!! Amazing food!! Do not pass this place by if you want the best food in town!”
“Perfect olde Towne atmosphere on main street in the Flint Hills. We walked over from the Cottage House and got ourselves some coffee and a jumpstart for the day. Our friend Kelly was getting married across the street at the ballroom and it was a day to remember.... With a great start at Watts coffee!”
“The best donuts.I’m not a fan of cake donut’s but they are the best cake donuts I’ve ever had. Great job guys!!!Parking: Parking was fine I was in and out no problem.”
“Came in with my in-laws. The food was pretty solid! We went on Taco Tuesday. Have to admit the tacos lacked a little bit of seasoning. Still I would show up every week to eat there!”
“When I worked in the oil industry, I basically lived off Subway because it was in many of the very small oil towns, and usually the only alternative to gas station food, so Ive been to a countless number of different Subways. That being said this is BY FAR the best Subway Ive ever been to. The bread is always daily baked and super soft, ingredients are always very fresh, the restaurant is always clean and service is always friendly and efficient. I truly wish every restaurant franchise was as good as this place. Thank you.”
“First time, but we're planning on going back! Best burger I've had in years! Well done, all the way through, like I requested and it was a nice thick burger!! Staff was very friendly and made us feel like we were regulars.”
“We were told it was okay to sit in the back room, so we did. It was about halfway through dinner rush. The lady who told us we could sit in the back followed us back but didn't offer us menus or anything. We sat for probably at least 10 minutes as staff came and went stocking the freezers and such. Finally located menus. Finally a server brought another table their food and noticed us sitting there. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with fries, which was on special for $5. Mom ordered a ham salad and paid $2 upcharge to add egg. The food came out a lot faster than it took to order it. The burger and curly fries were very good, especially considering the price. The salad had a lot of toppings, and a bit of cut ham. The $2 egg was a sliced boiled egg that they'd forgotten until she reminded the server. The big salad was served on a small plate, which made it difficult to mix up and corral as Mom ate it. I'm not much of a fan of shredded lettuce, but at least their lettuce did seem very fresh. I can see why they stay busy with those special lunch prices. The food was quite good for the price. It's not anything fancy, but seemed clean and more popular than the other restaurants in town.”
“Stopped in while on the road. Food was great, the wait was acceptable for it being lunch time. There were shaded picnic tables, with good parking for large vehicles, behind the building.”
“Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our server was incredible and the entire wait staff worked so well together. The food was fairly standard and good. I ordered the patty melt. I would like to go back sometime for dinner and try some of their entrees.”
“Happened in by a wrong turn off the highway and got rerouted. Perfect mistake. Beautiful, welcoming space which was all decorated for Christmas. We shared a flatbread, charcuterie box, Bloody Mary and beer flight to try several. Wonderful barkeepers offering attentive service. Would go out of my way to stop here again.”
