“It's just a little hometown BBQ place, but they get it all right. Really good meats and sides. I love their pulled pork! They also have a brunch menu with really good biscuits and gravy.Dine in or carry out. There's also seating out back.”
“We heard from several people in Ottawa how good the lunch buffet was here. We checked it out on Labor Day and they were not exaggerating! The salad bar is one of the best I've had. And the pizza was awesome!”
“Hamburger's were big and cooked as ordered. Mushroom's were very good. As were onion rings, all food was still hot at the table. Beer was cold and mixed drink's were made correctly. Service was outstanding. I would definitely be back, if i wasn't visiting.”
“This place is great but plan on spending sometime unless you get it to go. They specialize in homemade for every dish... think like your grandma was making it. Have tried everything on the menu and is a favorite among our friends and family. Personable staff and cooks.. a true delight!”
“Ordered cupcakes for my kid’s birthday and ended up getting some goodies while inside. Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. It was delicious! The cupcakes were a huge hit. Customer service was great. I will definitely be ordering again. I highly recommend trying!”
“What a hidden gem in Douglas County! I will preface this review by saying I am not much of a wine drinker. I loved this quaint place, though. I was here because of a holiday party given by a volunteer organization I work with in the area. The organization is Loving Paws and we provide therapy dogs for the community. The cool thing about Bluejacket is they let us bring our dogs. So we had a HOWL-a-day party here. The vineyard is easy to find. It's in a rural part of the county and you have to go down some dirt roads but it was easy to find. There is plenty of signage to guide you, as well. It is just a lovely setting. Beautiful grounds and everything has been carefully crafted. The main building is for tastings and gatherings. There was a roaring fire and comfy chairs in the main area when you walk inside. It is a large one room structure. To the right is the service area where you order your wine. To the left is seating area and plenty of tables and chairs. The wine flight list was extensive. The proprietor was very warm and informative. She led us through the flight choices and gave us background on the vineyard. It is a family venture which makes it even more cozy, there are many, many delicious wine choices. There was one I tried which was award winning. It was a Seyval, I think. Simply delicious! The proprietor answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. She made the experience very nice. The prices on the wines were reasonable, too. Lovely venue, great experience and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!”
“The food was really good except for the chicken in the enchilada was a little dry. The margaritas were amazing especially the pinacolda one. Overall it was pretty yummy.”
“Food and service is really good. The bread the last few times has been different each time we get sandwiches. Im not sure why it just has tasted different. It could just be me.”
“Very modern! The usually excellent Wendy's food served in a futuristic setting. Every is clean, neat and interesting to see where they are heading. The people who waited on us were really nice!”
“Chris actually came out to my car to ask me specifically what all I wanted on my burger. He was training a new cook and did not want it to be wrong. I appreciate this level of customer service and appreciate the leader Chris is! Highly recommend Sonic in Eudora! Perfect burger!!!”
“Friendly staff, especially with our dog Bentley. It so wonderful that Dairy Queen count our 4 legs family members as their family too. Bentley loves their ice cream and kind service to all dogs!”
“The conchas were incredible and fluffy. The orchata unfortunately did not taste like the orchata I'm used to drink. It wasn't bad , it just wasn't what I was expecting.”
“I am a little conflicted about this place. But maybe they had an "off" night as it was quite busy Saturday night, and there was a rather frantic energy about the whole establishment. The building is very beautiful which makes for a nice atmosphere. We sat at a teeny corner table under a television. The table was facing the wall which was odd and awkward which took away from the overall experience because we had our backd to the restaurant. It was crowded and we felt a bit cramped, so my husband and I just made the best of it, and decided to be cozy and enjoy ourselves pretending to be in our own little nook. However, in an establishment where dinner plates cost nearly $40 each and an "elevated" dining experience is expected, these types of seating situations should not even be an option. Our server was very personable, professional, and nice. But it was clear that he was very busy, and attending to many guests on his own, so the service was rather slow which I cannot blame the gentleman for, but still I needs to be noted. We ordered the deviled eggs. They came on a bed of some type of bacon relish, which had a rather off-putting gamey flavor. The eggs themselves were delicious though. My husband ordered the braised beef, and it was sublime. I ordered from the restaurant week 3 course meal menu. I had the braised beef empanada, shrimp gnocchi and the coconut tres leches cake. The empanada came with kimchi, and I loved the different flavors and tastes of this little dish. The gnocchi dish was rather uninspired. The shrimp was quite chewy, but the texture of the gnocchi was perfect. The dish was just okay. The tresh leches cake was perfection in every way.Overall, the experience was not what I expected it would be for a restaurant of this caliber. It has all the makings of a place that can deliver an extraordinary dining experience. But last night, they fell just a bit shor of achieving that. I believe I will go back once more on a less busy night and give it another chance for dinner.”
“Had a great time visiting Jefferson’s! The food was really good and we had great service. Lauren D. Was super attentive and really fun. She had great recommendations and was extremely personable. Can’t wait to try some more things on the menu.”

“Great food, great people, very friendly, personable, and tight knit. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves whether it’s the staff or the customers. The guy behind the bar is very fun, kind, and super efficient! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for either a classic breakfast, or something out of your comfort zone. If you’re in Lawrence, give this place a shot!”
“Pizza by the slice!I had been traveling to DeSoto for months for a temporary work assignment. On the last day, someone brought me here. I missed out all those previous days.Excellent pizza pie. I had a slice of a hamburger with onion and peppers. Not a commonly offered pizza, but one of my favs. It was excellent. We also split a large Angus. Also, top quality. If I have a chance to return to DeSoto, I'll definitely will be hitting up KJ's again. Tjey're doing god's work.”

“We do not consume food. But, just drinks. There are many drink options, many different drinks. Flavor mixes. The guys who serve are very attentive and speak a little Portuguese. A place worth visiting. I highly recommend it.”
“I love finding coffee shops that I have never visited. I drove 25 min to meet a friend here. LOVED Cause Coffee! The vintage Bungalow house, I loved! Lots of seating, great front porch and great atmosphere! Coffee and scones tasty as well!”

“This is a great bakery, soup and sandwich place. I had the ham, broccoli, and cheddar soup which include 2 slices of artisan type bread. I also brought home a chocolate eclair which I haven't tasted as yet. An enjoyable lunch spot with great breads by the loaf as well as tortes, cheesecakes, cookies and much more. They serve breakfast too!”
“Food was excellent and the service was awesome. They were very quick, nice, and even recommended a few great things. You definitely have to try the sushi pizza if you give this place a go!”
“We happened to be driving from Colorado to Maryland on Christmas day when we came across this little gem. The people at Beer 30 were super welcoming and invited us to play in their reindeer games. Definitely recommend stopping in to say hi. They even sent us on our way with a hoverball to remember them. Thanks for an amazing break in our drive.”
“The best Tacos in Lawrence hands down! Real, actual authentic Mexican food like you would find in Southern CA where I used to live. The food is rich with flavor, and it's reasonably priced :))”
“We recently hired Taco Zone in Lawrence to cater our wedding in Topeka. Coco, the catering manager was such a dream to work with. She handled all of the details and helped guide us through the process and helped us make selections that made our special day so amazing.Day of they were amazing and helpful, even making sure the water and tea were refilled, something that was not in their contract. Coco had everything cleaned up and left overs packed up making our lives so much easier. I say all of this to get to the most important part of this review.OUR GUESTS COULD NOT STOP COMMENTING ON HOW DELICIOUS THE FOOD WAS. We had elote dip, and fruit skewers with tajin in addition to a chips and guacamole bar for cocktail hour. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dinner was Chicken Verde Tacos, Conchitas Pibil (pork), and Veggies Verde tacos. We ordered an off menu Mexican rice side which was so delicious. The micro green and Kale salad was delicious too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 would recommend.Great communication and even better follow thru! Give Coco a call for your next event.”
“This is by far my favorite coffee/tea shop! I go to school in Cincinnati and have found several cute places, but coming home to Zeb's is one of my favorite things to do on break. I cannot find a London Fog that matches their quality and sharing one of their cinnamon rolls with a friend is something I always look forward to. The employees are kind and friendly, always willing to help, and they go the extra mile to make your experience satisfying. Set in a small town, they really cater to the community, whether that's accommodating a women's Bible study or providing books and a small play center for kids to stay occupied. The plants and original architecture provide character and make it feel warm and welcoming. I love Zeb's!”
