“The food is fantastic. High quality ingredients, extremely well-prepared, and often a creative twist. The space is very obviously an old Mexican restaurant so if you are looking for upscale ambience with cloth napkins this is not it however….the food is truly excellent. The waitstaff is friendly, the chef/owner is usually on site, and everything is very clean. Heartily recommend!“
“OMG fantastic BBQ! Some of the best, most tender burnt ends I've had in KC! Definitely will be returning for brunch! We also enjoyed an appetizer w/$8 off for their "8th Anniversary Special" - we got the BBQ wontons - definitely would recommend. But I also saw the appetizer for onion straws - it was stacked about 6 inches high with onion straws across the 12 inch appetizer plate - it was HUGE to say the least & I was sad we didn't get that too after seeing it :) Kye was great! Very quick & on top of our needs. She seemed to be one of the few waiters/waitresses working & she kicked major butt! Thank you!!“
“After reading the reviews online about how good the onion rings were, I decided to give them a try. I had the Bleu Burger, onion rings with a shake. I can honestly say that's the best burger combo I've had since living in kc since 2003. This is my new spot.“
“Stopped in for lunch. Instead of ordering my regular gendered, I ordered a hickory burger. My mistake. The hubby ordered a gendare double, next time I will stick to mu usual. There was very little hickory about my burger, just an average burger. The size of an order of onion rings has shrunk. We have always split an order, I think we haf 4 rings and a tiny little ring. They were ubergreasy and just not that great.“

“Great burgers, large portions of fries. Staff is usually kind, with the exception of one of the managers. Large woman, tall, brown hair, brown eyes. Don't remember her name. She was rude and just shoved my bag of food at me, said "here". Haven't seen her in there last few times I went. Hope they got rid of her. Really wanting some of those fries now!“
“We ordered their classic cheeseburgers and fries, cooked to perfection and served hot and fresh. The toppings were plentiful, and the burgers were juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and addictive. The staff were efficient and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. 11/10“

“Where do I begin, the drive-thru is blocked off. I went thinking it was a Texas Tom's, by the way Texas Tom's starts in a unknown date, next week so they have two menus on the wall, smoke burger and Texas Tom's....well I ordered from the small paper menu taped to the wall...I really wanted Texas Tom's because the sign out side said Texas Tom's, not Texas Tom's next week or so....can't complain too much, but I really wanted a chocolate shake....“
“It was a bit busy but organized well so the wait was minimum. Staff was multitasking very well. Food was good as always. We both got the country fried steak. Also got to see 5 birds on the building that look like gray owls. Very beautiful birds.“
“Amazing place! The wings were an absolute hit! Definitely a fun spin on tradition wings. We had the honey chipotle flavor and it was so good! We couldn’t get enough! Our burgers were awesome! They’re big, juicy, flavorful! Everything you want in a burger! Service was great! Cece was so pleasant and kind! Absolute sweet heart. Definitely should add this place to your list!“
