“Every time I go into a restaurant, I put in my headphones. I can't stand to hear the nonsense around me and the terrible music.... At niecies, that's not the case at all. The soul and disco playing were music to my ears. My waitress, Tajuana (sorry for the possible misspelling), was super nice and got my tasty breakfast to me quickly! Food was standard breakfast fare but I'm a vegetarian, so I know I was missing out. Anyway, stop there and support your local business! Thanks again!“

“Went to city diner to have brunch and walk through vintage market days in city market across the street. The location of the diner is perfect for a weekend brunch and city market combo! The food is very good and it's a cute small diner the kind of place you would see an old man in suspenders at the breakfast bar! The menu isn't large but very good food and good service!“

“i have a friend that is a breakfast burrito aficionado; he will drive from the Northland to Edwardsville on his days off just to enjoy what he considers the best Burrito de Desayuno. His workday ritual has been a daily stop at the Lunchbox in the West Bottoms, until recently when he discovered Burritos To Go on 7th St. So I had to see what the deal was.The place is a literal hole-in-the-wall, squeezed into a small storefront. You may enter, but more than 2 at a time may get the fire marshall called. The layout is not only cramped, but awkward. Just as awkward is the lady serving and cooking. When I asked if she accepted credit cards, I was given the eye squint and a blunt "of course". For what is lacking in decor and decorum the burritos make up for it. I ordered a combo pork/steak with rice. Smallish but priced right and stuffed with tender juicy meat. She may be terse, but she's quick. A grilled tortilla, stuffed, rolled, bagged and rang-up in about 90 seconds..Will I return? --squints eyes..."Of Course".“

“Went in with my family today my server was a gal named Brittany, was so welcoming, upbeat, with a great smile and friendly. The girl didn’t stop everyone she greeted she presented the same personality! However, there was a gentleman sitting at the counter me and my wife assumed it was the boss and he just sat there sipping coffee and watching his phone while our server bussed all her tables, ran the register, cashed guests out, ran her food I mean this was unimaginable but our server Brittany didn’t stop smiling the young lady just kept going.
