Their border war pizza is amazing! They also renovated recently and I love it. The service is always wonderful even during the drunken rushes around 1:00am. They seem to be improving every week so I'm just excited to see what comes next!
We were staying at the Oread and started the night at Bird Dog Bar in the lobby but left after one drink (which took 40 minutes after arriving to get). We went to dinner at Basil Leaf Cafe (5 stars for sure) and on our walk back to the hotel decided to give A Slice of History a Shot for a couple beers. I'm going with a 4/5 stars because the veggie pizza was bomb. However, I can't give this place 5 stars because everyone knows having a supply of ranch should be as important as having a supply of pizza sauce at a pizza place. Needless to say, they were out of ranch. Enough of a disappointment to have to write a yelp review about it.
