We got the pulled pork sandwich and my husband’s had to be remade because it was so dry. And even then it was still dry. The kid that came out (I’m sure he was the cook) was super polite and understand and gave us a refund. Just not good bbq.

We're from out of town, and needed to get some BBQ while in the KC area, we were not disappointed. I learned so much about this place in the few minutes we were there placing our carry-out order. First, this place cares for its employees, I know because Issac shared that he has worked there since he was 16, and that seemed like several years ago (you still look young Issac). He also said he's had a z-man every day, and still loves them, and I concur, that was a beast of a sandwich, possibly the best sandwich of any kind I have ever consumed. I learned that the food was incredible because there was a fast moving line that was out of the building, which compelled us to order take out, but I would wait next time, knowing how awesome the food is now.I make some BBQ at home, and it takes a ton of work to make it that good, and to make as much as Joe's does takes incredible preparation and knowledge, it is just simply great BBQ. Thank you Issac, and all the incredible people at Joes's. I may never be able to eat BBQ anywhere else ever again.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. He wanted BBQ, I have a tomato allergy so I can't have most BBQ sauce. I was so impressed that the employee we were talking to brought out a sample. The meat is smoked perfectly, I don't even need the sauce. Best BBQ I have had.
