I was very impressed with this Ethiopian food, especially because we ordered it on DoorDash. The delivery was fast and the food was plentiful and hot and delicious. We chose the vegetarian sampler and could not be more impressed with the selection of eight different veggies and legumes. We also just had to try their take on the Samosa and it was delicious. I could taste some ginger and Cumin lots of good spice and a bit of heat to warm your belly on a cold winter day! Wish I took some pictures, but I was so famished that I ate it up real quick!

Service was slow with little to no interactions. We had to knock on the door to get someone to talk to us.Food was mediocre and poorly seasoned, unevenly cooked and took far too long to come here for a weekday lunch.Atmosphere was decent though it wouldn't hurt to clean the place. Blue Nile is leaps and bounds better in the KC Metro.

They really behave friendly and even help me choose the food . not knowing that they were just tryna let me but the expensive one. The food was not recently cook but been there over weeks then put in a microwave to be hot according to how it tested ? they also told my that they not gonna give me the one with pepper as I requested but really gave me the more spicy pepper ? oh damn I regret going to this place

My family tried this restaurant last night. The place was clean, inviting, had three tv/video active on the walls. We were able to choose our table. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with our questions. The food arrived quickly on huge platters with plenty of injera (the pancake-like bread). It was plentiful, spicy, and very satisfying. I think we've found a new favorite.Vegetarian options: Options are heavy on legumes, chickpeas and lentils.Parking: A large parking lot shared by the various shops in the strip mall.

I am really really sorry for those who give five stars for this place. I wish I can show you the test of Ethiopia food in other cities like Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, Houston……. and so and so. Besides that you ask Tea and they bring something even it doesn’t test. The bad thing, I was trying to describe how to operate that machine however they have lack of willingness. Even if I was trying to communicate in theirs native language, they still playing. They only watch your hand how much you tip them. I am back to my city but I am sorry for those who stick here.

Delicious takeout experience! ?? I decided to try Selamta Restaurant for takeout today, and I couldn't be happier with my meal. The ordering process was smooth and efficient, and the staff she was incredibly friendly during the pickup. The food was packed securely and arrived hot and fresh. I ordered two Awaze tbs and each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous, providing me with a satisfying and delightful meal. I highly recommend Selamta Restaurant for their scrumptious food and excellent service, even for takeout! Looking forward to my next visit.Israel ??! ?️?

What a great dinner beautiful food beautifully prepared. Went on a Sunday evening with my sister and my son. I had never had Ethiopian food before and had no idea what to order. We ordered a bunch of dishes both vegetarian and meat and each was delicious and filling.

If you haven't ever had Ethiopian food, now is the time to try it!First of all, I LOVE how veggie friendly and gluten-free friendly they are! All the injera is gluten free (some places use wheat as a filler. Selamta says theirs is all Teff). The veggie combo is enough for 2-3 people to share, or three meals for just me! They absolutely don't skimp on the injera or the meal itself. And it's all SO GOOD. It doesn't feel oily or heavy, just filling and delicious. So flavorful. And so much variety: carrots and potatoes, a couple types of lentils, collard greens, split peas (my favorite), beets, and a couple more I'm not remembering. Each one has its own flavor profile and texture. Do yourself a favor and try Ethiopian food! Make sure you order a honey wine with it.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating!
