“i’m not one to leave reviews… the sandwiches were fantastic, but the REAL appeal was this charming little crab drawn on my sandwich wrapper, he is just so fantastic. this endearing doodle bestowed upon my sub was drawn with whimsy AND grace. It has held me together psychologically for several days now, and I utterly refuse to let this relic part ways with myself. 10/10, would recommend.“
“I love love LOVE this goodcents. They always give great service, and the food is awesome. A lot of places, when you order online, they don't do as good as they would if you went to order in person. That is not the case with this restaurant! Whether I order online, or in person, they give the same service and make the same quality of food. Today I ordered online and asked for extra extra extra pickles, and they gave me a BAG of pickles on top of the many pickles they put on the sandwich. They also left me a cute note on my bag! LOL! I love goodcents and it makes it 100x better that the staff is efficient and they really do a great job. Give them all raises! Love this location it's the best!“
“This is the #8 Billy Club, ham and roast beef. Except it's not, because there's no roast beef, again.Update: they replaced my sandwich and were professional and apologized. That's all I ask. They owned their mistake and they fixed it. We'll be continuing to use this location.“
“Simply delicious sandwiches. Full disclosure I've known the owners for many years before their foray into food. There's a lot about the bread, but honestly I could do without it. I'm not much for crunchy bread (sorry Ju). If I'm at one of the other sandwich places and they ask me if I wanted it toasted I spit in disgust. What I come for is what's between the buns. With the right amount of salt, fat, acid, and a touch of heat every sandwich is a masterclass in balanced flavors. I don't know any better way to put it.Oh and they have options for veggie lovers and pescatarians too.Oh and I hear people like the bread.“
“This place has good fresh hot sandwiches!I found this Goodcents restaurant while searching for a place to grab some lunch near the Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park. It is a family owned business with a great atmosphere, awesome customer service and fresh sandwiches! My sandwich was delicious! It was made perfectly with fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I have been back a second time and plan on going back again. Please support this family owned Goodcents restaurant. The food and customer service are awesome! They may be a little difficult to see but they are right off of the Roe and 435 exit in Overland Park, Kansas in the Fox Hill Center.“
“It's been decades since my last Schlotzky's and I had forgotten how delicious the home of the original hot sub is! The staff was professional, polite, and friendly. My only complaint is that they seem to have bought into the ridiculous tipping culture. Tipping for fast food before service is not good for customer satisfaction nor employee develop and I hope they will cancel it.“
“The staff are so friendly and helpful here! They make you feel like you are at a nice, full service restaurant. Food is always yummy, good sized portions & they don't skimp on meat on the sandwiches. Quick service & the restaurant is always clean.“
“First time there. We both had the Cuban sandwich and one side of fries to go.The gentleman behind the counter was very nice. The food was great, and the fries were still pretty warm by the time we finally got home. The only semi-negative is that it was difficult for my husband, who is currently using a walker due to surgery, to get up the stairs at the entrance. We will definitely stop again.“
“Had takeout after my dad's funeral at our family gathering. My brother-in-law just brought an assortment home and so I picked one and took all the meat except the ham off of it and put on two slices of pepper-Jack cheese and OMG, best sub sandwich I've ever had in my life. The ham was sliced perfectly and was so fresh-tasting, as were the tomato and lettuce. I'm kind of craving another right now. lol.“
“A terrific gem of a shop in downtown Mission. The sausages are authentic and excellent, and the Saturday grill outs draw a crowd, but the deli sandwiches inside are quietly my favorite part — the smoked turkey and house Swiss, on rye, is primo. A small specialty market inside has tons of hard-to-find German snacks, mustards, cheeses and more. Definitely recommended as a weekday or Saturday lunch spot as well as ahead of BBQs and tailgates.“
