So, I went ahead and ordered before he arrived. The waitress turned up the heat on the cooks, and they got both of our orders out at the same time so we could still eat together. Nice move!“

After driving around OP, then Olathe, for nearly 2 hours, trying to find a place to SIT and eat, we begged the manager at Vader’s to help us out. (By me, I mean myself, my wife, and our 3 year old, one year old, and 4 week old). The 4 week old was ready to nurse and my wife really needed a place to sit… it had been a day for us.I sincerely wish to apologize to the party who was disturbed by us. We thought they may understand our need and consider giving us the courtesy. Had they stayed around, I would have gladly payed their bill in exchange for their kindness. However, they left so abruptly that I wasn’t even given the chance to offer that accommodation.EDIT: There were plenty of high top tables and bar seats available, but only one large table to accommodate a family. This party of 2 was asked if they would consider moving from the large table to a smaller table, but not asked to leave.Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I am appalled of the knee-jerk reaction of this customer to leave without tipping, and then make libelous claims about the encounter on Google. It was a situation, but we didn’t expect that it would offend them so egregiously.On principle, I will support this business by patronage and word of mouth as long as I can. I ordered the hot and honey chicken sandwich. There was nothing hot nor honey about it, but it was still so good. “We've eaten at multiple Whataburgers, including this location in the past. This was the best visit we've experienced. We went through the drive thru. Our receipt shows Luis was the cashier - he was very polite, professional, and accurate. Our food was hot and delicious. The topping portions were awesome as well. It did take a few minutes to get our food but they did advise us of the wait. We do not mind waiting for fresh food so no big deal. I hope it's just as good the next time we visit!“

Unfortunately, there have been two instances when I encountered staff members who didn't meet the same high standard of service. “Came here late at night to satisfy the food cravings of my 35 week pregnant wife. The service was personable, efficient, and very helpful, especially the young man Ashton at the drive-through window. While everything was delicious, highlight of the meal was definitely the jalapeño fry sauce. We will be going back soon and often.“
