A friend of mine and I just want today for Iftar and I just have to say the service was incredible especially after a long day fasting. Without us having to say anything, the moment, we sat down ,they gave us dates, water, pakode WITH chutney and rooh afzah. Our food came out maybe five minutes if not less after we broke our fast. Very speedy service, food was so yummy. I am very happy with our experience today. Only complaint is the portion for the butter chicken could have been bigger. Portions seem small.

I ordered goat biryani , but there are no pieces in it except bones. Literally there is nothing except rice.I will never visit this store and waste my money to eat plain rice. So disappointed.

I came for iftaar but they were too busy entertaining other tables and bringing them more food and seated us late, took our order late, and brought our first order after giving other tables even more food. It seems they just assumed i was not fasting, it was very rude.we received completely different table set up and service. It’s not good to assume someone is not fasting because of how they look. It is ignorant. This is very wrong during Ramadan. I was also asked if I can “ handle spicy” after ordering spicy. So rude.

Despite its high prices, the overall quality, atmosphere, and service do not meet expectations. Orders often take an excessively long time to cook, and nearly every appetizer tastes alike. Similarly, there's a lack of variety in curries, all seeming to have a similar taste. Additionally, portion sizes are notably smaller compared to other Indian restaurants, contributing to a sense of dissatisfaction. The atmosphere is particularly lacking, failing to create a pleasant dining experience. However, one dish worth trying amidst these shortcomings is the chatkara chicken biryani.

If you are into home cooking this is the place to eat. Authentic Indo-Pak cuisine. Attentive service in a cozy environment. Located in the heart of Overland Park. Ample parking. It's family friendly. Loved the palak paneer and naan. The butter chicken and Abbas grill was excellent too. A must visit place.

Loving Indian food, visited Kurry Leaves on 127th and Metcalf on a Fri night. The place was 80% full. First impression was people were mostly smiling and enjoying themselves. I went with a standby and ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. The Butter Chicken was creamy and favorable, the chicken chunks were uniform - and overall delious. When asked did l desire mild or medium, l said medium. I really prefer hot spice but wanted to try their medium and it was spot on. The Naan was full of garlic and was roasted very well. This was just a sample of their food and l started to also smile as l enjoyed myself.

Today was my last day as client of Kurry Leaves. Yes, the food is good. So good that we ate here on average once a week. But it's obvious that we're not valued customers.Today, I ordered my usual. As I walked out my bag tore and fell to the ground. I picked it up only to have it tear again. My food spilled out into the street.I returned and asked if they could remake the order and give me half off the new order. I didn't do anything wrong. I just walked out the door. I didn't expect them to comp the meal either, but I'd expect at least some consideration for a loyal customer. They said they'd give me a 10% discount. That's it? After I've spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars at your establishment? If you are loyal with your customers they will be loyal to you.The food I was able to salvage sadly did not taste very good. Perhaps they are under new ownership.

The best Indian food in KC, in my opinion. I guess this is from the Pakistani area of influence for Indian cuisine. The owner is super sweet and her recipes are amazing. My favorite is the velvety smooth and creamy korma. They have a Kansas korma that is basically a vegetable mix that I love and makes me feel good about eating my veggies. Love the Chicken tikki Masala too. The garlic naan is great!

Sometimes Yelp Reviews are misleading unfortunately. Decided to try Kurry Leaves based on the reviews and being near the area. Walked in and was confused thinking this was a quick eats type of place vs a sit down restaurant based on the outdated decor. Thought to myself, the food must be good then, no thrills all taste. I ordered naan & chicken tikka for my dinner. It's always disappointing when Indian restaurants offer a Buffet during lunch but don't have combos to get a little bit of one dish and another. The naan was a big let down. It was small and not at all like the pictures on Yelp. The chicken tikka had decent flavor, which I enjoyed. However, the rice was a bit fluffy and soaked with flavor like most Indian restaurants have. Overall, the meal was fine but for the cost & alright taste, I would prefer another spot in the area.
