I have been here many times over the past 7 years my last visit this week was possibly the worst experience with hibachi! Our server was great! But the chef didn’t look happy! Our steaks were over cooked and he did the shrimp toss and a volcano and that was about it for tricks! We were celebrating a birthday so it was very disappointing! We watched all around us how great and fun the experience can be! I most likely will not be coming back for any celebration due to how disappointing this experience was!!

We came last night our experiencewas unprofessional, awkward, the list goes on.One of the staff members was either drunk or high on something he was cussing around the whole party including children, calling the staff out their name calling them hater, making inappropriate jokes about "blowing" he was kept lifting up his shirt I front of minors our order was messed up and he wouldn't listen just kept talking over me when I was trying to explain. He told my sister she didn't get her drink order because she wasn't at the table when she was gave me the wrong rice and went back and forth with me about what rice I wanted I told him forget cause he was being weird. My other sister keep asking for her debit card back all the staff was just watching him act a fool he was acting like he was at the club. I asked later about a to go order of fried rice and he told me the kitchen was close and an hour later they brought out two Togo orders for my niece so either they cooked it when she put it in and just let it sit for two hours or he told a story about the kitchen bring closed a d when I tried to explain to him that this fried rice and the fried rice I wanted to go was two different orders whatever he took a kicked Im cause he wouldn't listen, kept telling me to blame the cook and he's stupid manager saying nobody there likes him some staff tried to deny he was drunk/or on drugs but he was on something it started with him just moving to fast to him messing up orders, cussing, stripping, and calling out family saying he wanted to fight after he scared my 3 year old niece made her cry by getting in her face and throwing up his arms he asked who her mother was and walked over there and said they could fight some tried to laugh it off cause it was awkward. Wouldn't recommend this place. Staff would walk behind people point and walk away and talk about them.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. The sashimi plater is not worth what you get. The crab salad was a sad loose mess. And the sushi was bland, uninspiring, and boy so they love their sauce...Miso soup was good

I called a day ahead to make reservations for a party of 6 for the following day at 6pm. I had to repeat myself numerous times of the phone because the woman taking the reservation got the number of people and time incorrect several times. Before hanging up, I asked her to confirm the information, which she did. Today, the restaurant reached out to confirm my reservation, and stated party of 6 for 8pm. When I told her my reservation was supposed to be for 6pm, and expressed my frustration with the woman that took my reservation yesterday, she offered to get me in at 3:30 or on Sunday. Not very helpful or considerate and very frustrating. Won’t be giving this place our business.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Koyto Sushi & Steak on several occasions and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The sushi is particularly noteworthy, and I highly recommend the Volcano Sushi Roll and the Wildcat Sushi Roll. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is pleasant. While I typically prefer to visit during Happy Hour, I recently had dinner there and was equally pleased with the experience. The Gimger Salad was a delicious starter, and the sushi rolls were as good as I remembered. I highly recommend Koyto Sushi & Steak to anyone looking for a great sushi experience.
Ordered from the sushi portion of the menu. Went with the wildcat, pretty woman and hot mess rolls. All 3 of those were good and would order all again. My favorite was the hot mess roll.

Ate here for years with no issues. Last two visits resulted in getting sick in the night. First time was hibachi, and last night just sushi made me sicker than heck. I can get over one incident but this doesn't seem like a coincidence.
Have had better steak and shrimp compared to what I tasted at this restaurant. But the service was impeccable and truly worth mentioning. Kudos to all the employees who work at Kyoto's.

Jacob is the best Hibachi Chef! We’ve been going for about 8 years and he has been our Chef most of the time. He is always entertaining, upbeat, and friendly. Not to mention such a great Chef! We love this place and are so happy to have it in our city.
