I had not been to the cafe in Nordstroms for years, but I took a child to ride the carousel in the mall and we decided to have lunch there, too. It was definitely the right decision. She loved her food, but thought her dad made better green beans and potatoes. I had a turkey club sandwich and caesar salad. Both were excellent. Cannot believe I have never reviewed this place. I will forever call it Nordstrom Cafe. This place has a warm spot in my heart from growing up in CA, would go to Nordstrom regularly with my mom & grandma, & have lunch. The cafe has not changed in 20 years, except prices are higher & they don't serve cafeteria style anymore. My salad, hubby's pasta, 1 small glass of wine & 1 fountain drink was $60. My first time back after 8-10 years probably. The interior looks the same, which I liked. The Caesar salad is still the best I've ever had. Sad that they did not toss the salad in front of you in the line, and that it came out with the rest of the meal. Nonetheless, it was still fantastic. The pasta was delicious like it was many years before. I used to get the salmon all the time, so it was disappointing to see it dry and flavorless now. Service was good but a little slow.
