New to the neighborhood and was excited to see a local place my wife and I could visit meet some folks and join in the local festivities. The rude behavior from the moment we entered the door and had to beg for a drink was all we needed to experience. Worst bartenders ever.

The food was great, but the service SUCKED . It was my 82nd birthday & the waitress didn't knowledge it in anyway. She never came back to the table to check on us or to see if we wanted anything else. I was a manager of a restaurant for 25 years, so I think the manager should know this.

The 2 ladies who felt they needed to be the center of attention to everyone in the establishment were a bit much. I've eaten here many times. I felt like the Friday special open faced roast beef was burnt. I felt bad because I had recommended it to another person in my party. It is usually very tasty. The manager was attentive to our group but probably should have helped out his one server when the lunch crowd got busy.

I don't know how to explain this kind of bar other than to call it "The Midwestern tradition of having bars in old Pizza Huts" (which I don't think this place was) but it's a great version of this. Food was wonderful, service was friendly. Everything you would expect from a bar like this. Also appreciated the American Bar/Irish Pub fusion menu. No complaints, great spot to spend an evening with friends.

Menu online was not the menu now, or apparently the menu a year ago according to our waitress. Was pretty disappointing since I was looking forward to some Bangers & Mash to share with my wife. I went with the Cuban instead and it was... a bit less than average, honestly. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either.What really struck me was how dusty and dirty the place seemed to be. From what little I could see from the dim light, there was a good grey layer covering everything above a few feet from the floor.Overall it wasn't bad, but we probably won't be going back.

The place was packed! Taco Tuesday! The bar tender was having to work the bar and help with the tables. The server was new too. Everyone was so nice. Hoping to have a new hangout!

I love McGuire's. The food is wonderful, the service is always good.and the atmosphere can't be beat. A comfortable neighborhood tavern.
Used to love it, but can't stand the owner now. I will miss my drinking buddies and bartenders who I've been so lucky to call my friends. It won't be the same for any of us there.

McGuires is a local pub in our neighborhood. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and the service is exceptional. I had the club sandwich on marble rye with the homemade chips, it was amazing. My husband had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and said it was quite good. We started with the onion straws that were piping hot when they came out and made a nice addition to my club sandwich. I love that it’s close, convenient and has on site parking .

Great pub!! Got to have the McGuire's Chips and Cheese, it's the best. Great atmosphere and no better place to watch the Chiefs play.

They have reservations.ME: So what's actually Irish about this Irish pub?BT: The owners name. .
