“This Thai restaurant stands out as one of the best in Kansas for its exceptional food. The dishes are truly amazing, especially the volcano soup with fire pot, the pan-fried chicken dumplings, and the garlic chicken fried rice. Although the atmosphere earned a modest 3-star rating due to initially untidy utensils, the staff promptly exchanged them, ensuring a pleasant dining experience overall.“
“Buck Tui BBQ is a fun fusion twist between KC barbecue and Southeast Asian dishes. Some cultural purists might cringe at some of the creations, but they all seem to be great combinations. Service was great but the dishes can get pricey. Everyone in our party was delighted with their choices. Delicious and fun!“
“On a whim, we went here for Thai. The atmosphere was great! Our waitress was super friendly. We had pork dumplings, curry puffs, crispy egg rolls, sweet & sour pork, chicken pad Thai, and chicken Kar Pau - all with medium heat. All was superb.“
“I order lunch from here several times and it is always so good! My go-to is the cashew chicken, but the pad Thai and curries are great as well. I love that they are able to accommodate my gluten free requests. I highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: I love that they are willing to accommodate my gluten free requests!“
“Wow! This is a good find! The entrance from the street wasn't impressive, since it seemed always empty inside. Yet, I finally found out the restaurant is long shape/hour glass?!(lol), accessible from farmer's market/parking, actually spacious with bar counter and big 2 tvs which broadcasted Chief's victory parade. Today's soup was flavorful with sweetness, bitterness, sourness and spices. So was my pineapple curry! A server was nice. It looks Valentine's flowers and balloons are available with purchase. I definitely back again and over again!“
“Sorry that there are no pictures but I dove head first into my bowl of yellow curry. It was so good! Many items on the menu looked delicious but I was hangry for chicken curry and it didn't disappoint. I believe that they have a buffet for lunch and we plan on going back very soon. I highly suggest that you give Bangkok Pavilion a try.“
“I knew after the first bite that I was going to leave a 5 star review. After a long day tasting this food is such a treat. I got Thai fried rice with veggies and no spicy, it is delicious. Mouth watering vegetables! The spring rolls are fresh and delicious too. Thank “
“LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have never had such a pleasant dining experience. The food is authentic, the servers are wonderful, and the family-owned dynamic adds to the experience! I highly recommend you try this restaurant! My great-aunt joined us for dinner last Tuesday, and is historically is not a Thai-cuisine fan, but she has raved about the duck from Sawasdee ever since! We will definitely be back-- this is definitely a staple for our family now!“
“I ordered to go...and the staff was very accommodating and polite. I eat pad Thai a lot and this was the best I've ever had ⭐⭐. Also I was running late, and the staff was more than accommodating. Best in overland Park as far as I'm concerned.“
“Incredible selection of food. Diverse, flavorful. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Seasonal menu as well. The staff was incredibly gracious and kind. Great atmosphere. We ordered the Pepper Basil Beef (best thing ever) and the Pad Thai (WONDERFUL). The cocktail selection was superb. Old Fashioned with a rose ice cube! How cool.Glad this location is in Overland Park! We are new regulars!“
“If I could rate higher I would. I have not been this pleased with an overall dining experience for a while. The ambiance they created here is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived they were attentive and yet never overbearing. Party of Six. Got seated within 10 minutes. We tried the appetizer plate and then all six of us got different dishes and shared the dessert. Everything was delicious. Beautifully plated. Served hot. (Ice cream served cold! lol) Thai spice IS HOT. My sons like spicy Mexican, and half-seared their tongues with Medium. The dessert was an extra bonus of “Wow!” Creatively designed, so lovely to look at, and beautifully displayed. Delicious! Wow. Wow. Wow. Absolutely my new favorite restaurant! It is not a large restaurant yet they were steadily busy the entire time we were there. A must visit.“
