“I tried Louis Rose Hill Cafe with a friend on his recommendation, and I definitely was not disappointed! I ordered a double Bob's Blaze burger and the corn fritters as a side. The two 1/3 lb hamburger patties made a huge and delicious burger! I had bacon added to it, which really put it over the top! The corn fritters were very tasty as well! I definitely recommend trying this small town cafe. The hospitality is amazing here, and they seem to stay pretty busy! I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!”

They seem a bit confused as to when they close on Fridays; Local patron thought 8pm, website said 9:30, hours posted on door says 10:00pm, owner was upset when I picked up my prepaid call in order at 9:10 pm. The lady at the counter apologized and winked at me, was courteous and helpful as always.Parking: You can roll right up to the door here, no drive-thru window available.”

“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.”

“I am currently in the middle of eating one of the best burgers I have ever had! It's called the Black Knight and it's the signature burger at Betty's. I cant say enough good things about this food. Homemade ice cream and desserts too! My wife and I both ate for $20 and had food to take home. We live an hour away and will be making the occasional trip to Betty's to do this again. Also worth noting, the amazing "small town" service and atmosphere makes this place a new favorite!”

“I found my new favorite restaurant in Wichita. To my knowledge this is the ONLY place in Wichita where you can get Xialong Bao. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Especially the fried rice and dumplings. Also the staff are absolutely wonderful, they saw me trying to show the girls how to use chopsticks and they used some rubber bands and paper to fashion a little helper thing to keep the sticks together for the kids. Next time I am going back for the Shredded pork. I can’t wait! If you have not been, you have to give them a try!”

“The food is excellent! Better than any of the hibachi places I've been to over the years. The owners I believe are husband and wife. He cooks and she serves. Both are very friendly and funny. This place is a little gem that I hope is around for a long time. There's only one hibachi grill so if you can't get a seat at the hibachi table, you can still order from a regular table and he'll cook your food at the hibachi table.”

“I love the food here, and have always had very pleasant experiences when dining in. However, I would highly recommend that staff receiving take-out orders by telephone read back the orders for accuracy before hanging up with customers. Today I was on a tight schedule, and when I arrived to pick up my order it was incomplete. The necessary correction did cause a short delay. Fortunately, the missing food was a salad entree that was prepared fairly quickly. Once we got our order the food tasted good, as usual.”

“Manna Wok was a great experience! We arrived later than expected and were not sure if we should stay because we had a large family group and we were closer to closing time than expected. But The owners welcomed us with opened arms and accommodated us so lovingly! The food was SO good!! And the service outstanding! And let me tell you the desert I had never heard of it in my life.. that boy was that waffle bubble delicious...Vegetarian options: I'm sure you could get a burger I think without a hamburger if you just wanted veggies...Dietary restrictions: Food is off the chart good ?Parking: You have to pay very close attention to the sign out front on highway 77 or you'll drive right by it like I did... And then you go to the back of the old nursing home...?Kid-friendliness: Deathly kid friendliness she's got video games and TVs all over the place...?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible as well with a paved sidewalk...?”

“This is my go-to drink stop after work. You can get a large tea for under $2 during happy hour.Inside they have a couple dozen different teas that you can sample. I’m a fan of chai/ryan palmer (tastes like an apple pie).”

“What a Wichita gem! I visited Daikon Cafe for the first time and was very impressed by the quality and service. For our party of 3, two of us ordered the hot pot. We did a split pot with the Spicy Kimchi & Oxtail soups. Both options were absolutely delicious. Staff was very helpful in explaining menu options and guiding us through the hot pot experience. Ingredients were fresh, well portioned, and had a good variety. The other member of our party ordered a simple fried rice, which looked and tasted delicious. The staff member (Viet) was helpful and friendly. We were also able to try a few new pork belly options that they were trying out which were amazing. All around fantastic food, fantastic service, and fantastic prices. I can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m visiting Wichita! If you’re on the fence, definitely give Daikon Cafe a visit - I can’t imagine you would be disappointed.”

“I'm a regular. Unlike other coffee spots, a plain latte is usually delicious with no flavors or sugar or anything. Most places it is bitter or stale or cardboard flavor. Here it is perfect most of the time. I've been going since pre-pandemic, and Beth and Melissa are amazing. It's literally "the first," and it is still among the best in Wichita. My kid likes their strawberry Italian soda. Their sons are good, too.”
